The first thing he notices upon waking up is the fact that -something- is wrong. Not physically. He feels marvelous, actually, like he’s had a good night’s sleep for the first time in days.

He opens his eyes and realises right away that he’s forgotten something. Something important. Because the person next to him is completely unfamiliar and considering her state of undress, that’s a bit worrying. Not that he’s never taken a woman he didn’t properly know to bed (rather, that would be the common thing), but really now. He sits up and looks her over slowly, his eyes still narrowed slightly from sleepiness.
