"And where might here be?" England still, judging by the accent, so that was a relief! "Am I anywhere near London?"

"You...you're aware of how ridiculous that sounds?" John happened to think it was quite ridiculous and he pressed a hand over his mouth. Concussion. Or perhaps he was hallucinating?

"London's a bit crazy. Perhaps...part of the underground? Damage from the bombings during the war... Or, or, perhaps like a catacombs in France?" Grasping at straws? He knows.

John's lips twitch a little. "2010. I'm not old enough to actually remember the war." He just wants to clarify that. But it seems to be written into the DNA of all the British, that time when Germany attacked London.
