Of Teamwork, Retrieval and Bloodshed

When: September 2nd. Daytime.
Where: Top secret place Madara is keeping the hostages
Rating: At least PG-13 for violence
Summary: Madara has a few hostages that are of some importance to Snape, and he's coming to retrieve them. With help. Others decide to take that chance to launch their rescues as well.
Severus Snape had, for the most part, been ignoring one Uchiha Madara and his propensity for seeking power as a last remaining nod of respect towards Izuna. But the man had left months ago, and Madara had finally crossed the line where Snape was concerned.
The bastard had taken Lily as one of his hostages.
And Alexia, the woman who had whacked him on the head with that parasol of hers (among other indignities to his person), but Lily was the one he was most concerned about. He'd sworn to protect her at all costs, and damned if he was going to let her get hurt.
So he had spent the second night under Madara's hypnosis familiarizing himself with the presence in his mind, understanding its power and seeing how strong it was as he secretly built up walls to force it from his mind and keep it out. On the third night, they slid firmly into place, and Snape set about observing the general populace, noting all those who were affected and those who were not. By the time Thursday rolled around, he had contacted Killua Zoldyck, Vincent Valentine and Raven, telling them that their abilities would be appreciated if they chose to join him in exacting a bit of revenge on Uchiha Madara.
Though probably none of them were fooled; Severus Snape was asking for their help in rescuing the hostages. They were even asked for suggestions as to any possible additional allies before he went off to remind a certain werewolf of the wolfsbane-based favor he owed him due to last week's bout of insanity.
The world, it seemed, was ending.
