Jo was ready to fight a war.
There was no way in hell she would let the monsters under the bed win this time. No -- over her goddamn dead body. It was what being a Hunter was all about, after all -- keeping people safe and be damned the consequences. People had been far too compliant for far too long. Jo would fix things.
She had her shotgun, with salt rounds and regular ammunition. Holy water. Her iron and silver knives. And, most importantly, a worn book in her back pocket of evey exorcism ritual she knew.
She had drawn Devil's traps in key points of the city, to trap any wayward demon scum that happened to wander by. She had set up safe zones of salt and holy water refill points.
She loaded her gun -- and set out to do her job.
