Characters: Tonks and YOU!
When: The duration of the carnival.
Where: A stage near a cluster of stalls.
Rating: PG (so far)
Summary: Tonks is going to completely ham it up and put on a few magic shows while the carnival goes on. Do you want to heckle her? Are you just there to watch the show? Do you want to speak to her after? Come one and come all! She will be putting on at least one show each day throughout. There's no charge for admission.

Some way or another, Tonks had found herself being roped into performing at the carnival. She was going to play the part of Muggle magician and put on a magic show. The only thing was that her magic would be real. Secrecy statutes, what secrecy statutes?

Tonks had put thought into her act. She prepared well for it. Her first order of business had been to create an outfit for herself. She had taken her burgundy coat and transfigured it until it was a dress. The rest of her clothing had undergone a similar treatment. A few color-changing charms and several transfigurations later, she had a proper outfit for the show.

Aside from her outfit, there were other preparations put into her show. There were cues that she needed, smoke and lights. Tonks couldn’t have everything appear to be the result of her wand. That would give people ideas and could reveal a potential weakness. She didn’t want that. She wanted to have fun!

She opened the show with dragonflies. From the back and unseen by the tournament goers, Tonks had cast her first spell. Dozens of glowing, brightly colored dragonflies flew throughout the audience. They zipped and they zoomed all around before converging in the center of the stage. When they converged, there was a loud BANG and Tonks stood where the dragonflies had vanished. The people from her world would recognize that spell, she'd simply apparated onto the stage.

Tonks was a complete ham. She thrived in the attention. Normally, she’d never flaunt the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy that horribly. However, she wasn’t in her own world and it helped to take her mind off of things.

After the dragonflies, her spells varied a bit. She shot sparks from her wand. Tonks conjured birds. Hecklers received either antlers for their bad behavior or had flowers start to sprout from the tops of their head, whichever. (The jinxes would wear off in a couple of hours, she was not a cruel person though she did want to teach a lesson.) There was a brief interval in which Tonks took requests. What she could do, she did. What she couldn't do or what she wouldn't perform, she didn't. Tonks had some ethics and morals. Magic also had rules besides.

Her final act was really quite simple. A clear stream of slightly illuminated blue water shot out the tip of her wand. Using her wand to guide it, she swirled it around the audience and manipulated it. Finally, she caused the stream of water to arc high in the air where it split in hundreds of large drops. Before it could fall onto the audience, Tonks flicked her wand, instantly transfiguring the droplets into purple flower petals.

Her show over, Tonks bowed. “Thank you, thank you. You’ve all been a great audience.”
