WHAT: The archangels discover the need for sleep. After four days.
The first days had been hell (or some version that resembled it). But the angels had figured out how to stay cool, how to eat, where water was, and how to deal with the constant nagging needs of their bodies.
Except for one thing.
It had been four days, and Lucifer was sitting in the parlor, watching Lilith race back and forth, trying and failing to touch things. He knew she wasn't really there, of course, but she was present enough that his foolish human eyes bought into it even though the demon flickered in and out of view.
He knew by now that sleeping was what his body demanded today, but he just couldn't. Every time his eyes closed he heard something else--the click of metal, the screams, the Voice of God.
