Summary: Hanna and Galahad had been planning a date for quite some time, but it seemed every chance to actually go was spoiled by some thing or another. Though really, Hanna's getting anxious to get that first kiss, and he's been rather patient.
Hanna had been kind of excited that there wasn't anything stopping the long awaited date. He had the idea weeks ago, and not being able to act on them after so long had just torn him up. No matter how hard he had tried to follow Riku's advice, that any time was right, and that he didn't have to wait for the perfect moment, he still hadn't even gotten one single kiss in since the start of this and they had started over a month ago. And here he thought he'd be one of those lover boy's like in all those songs he listened to and sweep someone off their feet. But apparently you needed more than just the ideas in your head, but also the ability to act on them without getting nervous and chickening out.
He was almost afraid that he might have been boring, and that maybe Galahad would decide that no, this was too much like before and why change 'titles' when nothing had really changed in their relationship in the first place. But thank god that hadn't happened yet, or the zombie was just too polite to do it and not want to hurt Hanna's feelings. But of course, his worries were over dramatic and stupid, or at least he told himself that when he finally managed to get out to the Taj-Mahal with his partner that afternoon. Dressed nicely enough, Hanna had managed to find a nice pair of jeans in his size, getting away with searching in the young boy's section had its perks as it wasn't as picked through as the other stuff. To top it off, he had found a magenta button down, much like the one he had at home and matched it with a black sweater, feeling rather comfy wearing something that reminded him of home.
So, it was with Galahad's room-temperature hand in his that he lead the other to the building, excited as can be with the idea of his very first date, planned by him, bag slung over one shoulder with a blanket and pillow inside for when the stars were finally visible.
"Um, you sure you weren't doing anything tonight? I mean, its awesome that we're both not busy, just for today, but I just wanted to make sure that, yanno, really wanted to go. I mean, last chance, haha, to bail on something that could be potentially lame. I planned it, so its probably not going to be awesome, but I uh...I hope you enjoy it."
Shutting up now, Galahad. Don't mind his nervous rambling, and if you ask, no, his hands aren't shaking.
