Drag Him Out Your Window...
Characters: Remus Lupin (weredaddy ), Sirius Black (siriuslymagical ), and Gabriel Van Helsing (anicereprieve ). Possibly a cameo by Rowan the Wolf.
When: Full moon on June 25th
Where: The Wastelands
Rating: PG-13 - R for violence, probably cursing.
Summary: Remus returns to Adstring just in time for a full moon. In a flood. With a monster hunter also newly-arrived. FML.
Remus was worried, or at least the part of Remus that was still somewhat conscious. He'd been doing this without the Wolfsbane potion for some time, now, but he'd always had a safer place to go back in England. Here, he was putting everyone in danger. Yes, Sirius had helped him during his Hogwarts days, but Remus was bigger and stronger now. One wrong move and he could easily hurt, or kill, his best friend.
Despite sitting at the wall of the Wastelands, despite this being his best precaution, Remus was there. And worried.
He was wrapped up in a blanket, his clothes (although somewhat wet from the rain in the city) folded next to the wall, as he waited for the moon to take its toll on his body. But judging by the fact that his vision was blurring already, it wouldn't take too much longer. And so, when the moon was at its zenith in the night sky, Remus' transformation began. His thumbs cracked and moved toward his wrist. His face elongated and turned into a snout. Ears moved upward on his head. His spine cracked as it assumed the correct shape. Remus' moans of pain turned into howls.
Remus Lupin was gone for now. The wolf was out to play.
