The dragon bellowed in pain as it glared at the cruel, vicious human before him. He knew that those shards had pierced something absolutely painful and vital... which meant that even if it won this fight... it didn't have long to live. Well... it wasn't going to give up until the very end! As far as the reptile was concerned, it was bringing down this human with him!

Therefore, with a mighty roar, the blue dragon put all of its remaining strength in a powerful lightning breath attack. However, much to its dismay its attack only glanced its target. It was still determined though, so it moved its head to follow the human.

Said target grinned despite being glanced by the lightning breath even when he dodged with a jump. "So you do have some pride, lizard!" Ranma exclaimed with a happy tone as he twisted in mid-air to avoid the reptile's moving lightning breath.

"However... it's time to say good night. Permanently. Moko Takabisha." Ranma continued, losing his grin for a more serious look as he countered the lightning breath with a ki blast before it could follow him further.

The area was then covered with an explosion of dust, smoke, and sand as the two attacks collided and canceled each other out. Ranma took that time to use the propulsion gained from the explosion to maneuver himself to the dragon's enormous skull.

Once the dragon felt something land onto it, it knew instinctively that the battle was over. And it was... because as the dust cleared Ranma's fist began to glow with blue-white energy, complete with wisps of water vapor coming from the sheer cold it emitted.

"Tsumetai Shikon." With that, Ranma's cold ki-enveloped struck the dragon's skull, freezing it then shattering a good part of it. It was now definitely dead.

Sango waited till he'd made sure the beast was dead and then crossed her arms, moving closer.

"Impressive. Saotome-san, right?"

Though there was no hostility in her, at least not towards Ranma, she was a lot more cold and distant than usual.

"I should thank you for telling me about the sand worms. They make excellent stress relievers."

Well--not really, but they were fairly close.
