It’s probably half-an-hour before noon - though with the way the sky looks, it is hardly a matter of course, applying time as he knows it to this place. Jean Louis resists the urge to bury his hands in his pockets. Though doing so is sign of restlessness rather than weakness in his case, he isn’t about to project anything unfortunate to his immediate surroundings. Can’t be certain who - or what - is lurking in the vicinity. He doesn't care overly much what Ray thinks, but in any case, there's no need to look worried when he isn't.
If there is one thing he can say for certain about Adstringendum, though, it’s that he hates it. Completely and utterly. It is much like a prison, which of course, would have been hilarious in any other circumstance. As it is, however...
He scowls. He’s not going to accept that flight might be impossible. Surely, nothing is. It's just a matter of putting the pieces together in the proper way. It's always been like that, hasn't it?
