Summary: Jr., still a little shaken up from having been infected with U-DO, goes to visit Ukitake.
The What If event had left Jr. in a bad mood, not only from not having done anything yet again while everyone else needed help, but also from the way he had been thinking during it. But Ukitake was injured, had been dead, and nowJr. really couldn't hold back from visiting him any more, despite knowing the kind of guild he would feel on seeing the old Shinigami's face.
He had on his best fake smile when he knocked on Ukitake's door in the clinic, hoping the older man wouldn't notice that it didn't quite reach his eyes, but doubting it. But he didn't want to give the man any more reason to worry, not now. He'd been through enough this week, enough that Jr. had done nothing to stop.
