Characters: madcuriosity and open
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Wandering all over
Rating: PG/PG-13 (could go higher though)
Summary: Alice's cat got out of the apartment, Alice is unwisely chasing after it.

She hadn't meant for it to happen. Of course she rarely means to get into trouble to begin with. Alice had been playing in the apartment, warned not to go outside whilst the Animus were making everyone odd and some particularly violent. It was midday which meant Horst was asleep leaving her to her own devices. So Alice decided she would play a game by herself (Alice was very used to playing by herself). She would simply pretend to be two different people with Basil and Aurora as her playmates. It wasn't terribly hard to do and she knew so long as she stayed inside she would be safe. Which is why what happened next was perhaps, the foolish part.

She was playing pretend with her stuffed rabbit and pet cat when, in her game of pretend, she had said that there was someone calling at the drawbridge (the front door in reality). And that simply couldn't be because they were in an abandoned castle in the middle of a ruined city so who could it possibly be calling at the drawbridge (she added it for suspense since Basil and Aurora had been arguing about where to explore). Alice, in her game, had gone to peek out the door to see "who could be calling at the drawbridge" (in reality she knew it would be no one but reality had little use in a game of pretend). And it was just as she cracked open the door that Aurora had seen a mouse outside of it. Well, off in flash she went and Alice let out a small exclamation before going after her.

The mouse had led them out from their apartment and the building. In her haste to go after her cat to get her back inside, she had forgotten that Horst still had her PCD.

"Aurora come back! We have to go back inside!"
