The first thing he notices is that its dark, the air heavy and full of a stench that makes his stomach churn. His hands go up, pressing above him, trying to figure out what it is that's making this so dark, but his hands meet something... solid.
Instantly, panic wells inside him. No. No no no no NO. Suddenly, he's gasping, panic rising, making his chest constrict as he starts clawing desperately at whatever's above him, squirming and flailing in the bed of... something squishy. Wet. He can feel it seeping in through his clothes, messing up his hair.
But none of that stops him from starting to shriek at the top of his lungs, tears welling in his eyes and spilling over almost instantly. This is the stuff of horror movies. Stuff like this didn't happen in real life. It just... didn't. Yet here he was, clawing and pushing at what's above him so much he can feel his fingertips start to scratch and bleed.
"Help! Help! Someone... ANYONE! Rachel! BLAINE!! HELP!"

Asuna whips Ensis Exorcizans out of the way and mismatched eyes stares down at Kurt, mouth opens lightly in horror.
Wrong grave. She had been looking for Negi -- but locating Kurt is just as important, for Rachel and Blaine's sake, anyway.
"Grab my hand," Asuna orders, reaching down quickly to grab onto Kurt, to pull him up into fresh air.

Almost instantly, he's on his knees, choking a bit as his body finally just gives up, trying to vomit, but not really having anything in him nor the energy to actually do it.
Otherwise, he's just collapsing onto his side, teeth chattering from the terror still gripping him, eyes screwed shut. He'll thank you later, Asuna. Right now... he just can't even function.

"We've got them, Kurt, no one's going to hurt you anymore," Asuna muttered quietly, fingers digging into his shoulder slightly to calm him down. "Breathe, you've just got to -- "
It's then that Asuna sees the holes, sees what's inside them. Her eyes widen almost to the size of sauces.
"Dammit."

But when Asuna breaks off and swears? His curiosity gets the best of him. Slowly, stubbornly, he's forcing himself up, mind spinning, stomach feeling like its up in his throat as he crawls over to that hole he'd been in.
What he sees, sends him reeling back, falling backwards and scooting away, another dry heave wracking his body before he just coughs and covers his mouth with a hand, staring towards the hole with wide, disbelieving eyes. He was laying in that?! Intestines, blood... he was laying on it... it was still on him.
"Wh... why would... that... what happened?" he demands, voice a hoarse, horrified whisper. The nightmare was there, beneath the surface, flashes of it like bursts of color every time he blinks, but his mind is just too overloaded to fully comprehend what's going on.

Asuna immediately turns Kurt around to look at her instead, her eyes full of concern, but a hardness. She's bloodied, bruised, and broken, but she's completely focused on the mission ahead.
"You got kidnapped by Rhode and Lucifer. They're gone now, okay? We beat them for you. I'm going to bring you back to Solve. Rachel and Blaine are waiting for you at home, okay?"

-- Lucifer. That name, it triggers something inside of him, has him sitting up straight in fear, all color draining from his face. Lucifer.
"I didn't... I didn't mean to... oh God," his hand flies up to his mouth for a moment before he turns, finally doing what his body had been trying to before as bile rises in his throat, leaving him retching and shivering and just looking miserable and... the very opposite of his usual put-together self.
"... Home... please... j-just... take me home."

When she had battled Rhode inside of Rhode's mind, she had thought that was the person who was supposed to be taken down...and Asuna had. But... even this seems a bit much, for the little girl to manage.
So Asuna does the only thing Asuna can do, in a time like this.
She tugs Kurt into a hug.
"You're going to be okay," she murmurs soothingly, hugging him tightly, like she would with Negi. "I promise, I'm not going to let anything happen to any of you anymore."
It was her duty.
And as soon as Asuna found Lucifer, she was going to show him the full power of her sword.
"I'll get you home."
