Characters: Jotaro Kujo and the nosy people in his head
When: March 6th-12th
Where: Jotaro's headspace
Rating: Up to R for possible violence.
Summary: Go ahead. There's an aquarium in there you know.

You are in a room. The room is small, hardly more than a cupboard. White-washed, clinical. Four walls. Each wall is a door. Be nice to the doors; you'll see a lot of them. Jotaro's mind is a maze of doors: there's never only one door between one room and the other, but always several rooms with several doors before you reach anywhere interesting. The doors are mostly unlocked and provide little resistance: they're there to compartmentalize, organize, not to block.

You're being watched, though. Constantly. By a distinctly hostile presence. There's all but a physical press of anger down on the visitor. Glancing in reflective surfaces, you might catch a glimpse of the watcher: Star Platinum, hovering over your shoulder, just waiting for an excuse to punch your teeth in. You can't see it if you turn around, though. It's not there. It's everywhere.

The South door leads to Knowledge: the corridor that stretches from it passes through a spacious, tastefully decorated library full of nonfiction on any number of subjects from art history to astrophysics. That's where Jotaro keeps his Knowledge of Stuff. He knows a lot of stuff. Feel free to browse. A few doors down from there, you'll suddenly be walking into the glass tunnel of an enormous aquarium. The gallons of water overhead are full of peacefully swimming dolphins, sharks and manta rays. A little further are habitats of other, smaller species.Jotaro's brainquarium is the best ever: being there just feels good, peaceful and clean. Relax, take a stroll, smell the sea wind. Maybe you'll even find Dr. Kujo working on his notes and learn something.

The East door leads inwards: first, again after a few doors, into a replica of the Japanese house where Jotaro now lives in Adstringendum. It's rather nicer in his mind, better furnished and warmer. There are occasional paintings on the wall - very faded, barely there. The paintings feature scenes of his previous stay in the city, mostly ones involving Unohana, Murrue and Oliver, but it's very, very hard to make out any details - just something of a pattern. The house has two more doors: the locked one, if forced open, leads to a frozen snapshot of a scene: Jotaro at home with his wife and young daughter, the three of them randomly asleep on the living room sofa, hugged close together. This part isn't interactive. It's still life, preserved in silence. And if you touch Katie or Jolyne, Star Platinum will appear and break your face.

The unlocked door leads to another door, and another, and another. Thirteen doors in all. The first is the largest and heaviest: they get easier to open as you go. Beyond the thirteenth's door, you find yourself in entering small, dusty cafe somewhere in India, currently empty except for these five men: the Stardust Crusaders. They're friendly and talkative and will gladly interact with any visitor.

The West door leads outwards: specifically, out into a busy traditional market in no specific country, a lively mix of East, West and everything in between. It's a nice place to travel around, but watch out: you might be attacked at any moment by various hostile Stand users. The wide world in Jotaro's mind comes with its risks.

The North door, the only locked one, leads to the core of it all. The leading corridor - doors and doors and doors - is dark and windowless, and the floor features mosaics of the major arcana. There is a common feature to the figures in all the cards: all of them are pierced through the heart by an arrow. The World card is just the Earth, pierced through - and bleeding profusely. The figure in The Star card is Jotaro himself as a young man, maybe seventeen. Looking into the water, his reflection is a different, but oddly similar man.

The last door is a shoji door, sunlight shining through the rice paper. It leads to a pristine Zen garden, where rolling storm clouds are constantly being driven back by the high sun. Jotaro is he is today sits on the porch overlooking the garden, meditating in silence, his Stand hovering protectively over him. He will talk to you if you ask with all mental defenses down, completely honest, completely open. But he will remember you when he wakes up. And knowing him he'll be pissed off.
