(
And I'm afraid I wont get out alive. No I won't sleep tonight )
Just know, once he thinks you could, possibly, help Kurt with his biggest secret, the one that only one other knows, one that's eating him alive sometimes... he won't let you leave until you see it.
After all, he's Kurt's subconscious voice.

Her voice sounded small, even as Rachel called out. She was quickly growing tired of this event.

And, with another blink of an eye, the classroom faded away, the door vanishing with it, leaving the two of them standing in the Hummel Auto Garage, the open engine of a car between the two of them.
"What can I do for you?"

When the scene dissolved, Rachel kept her ground rather well. She was used to the event by now -- slowly, but surely.
But there were much more important matters to be had: Kurt.
"Oh -- yes! That's me, Rachel... ah, I was looking for Kurt, is he here?"
ooc: ROFLLL IT'S OKAY.

"Probably not. He said he had some play he had to go to, and knowing him he's probably already halfway there," he paused then, however, and tilted his head up to look a bit more clearly at Rachel.
"Rachel... Rachel Berry? You're the girl with Finn, aren't you?" he stood up with a hiss and a wince, then, making an annoyed face and rubbing at his chest a bit. "I think Carols mentioned you before. Keepin' him in line?"
Reply
"I keep him in line as much as he keeps me in line," Rachel said brightly, moving closer to the car, partially out of curiosity and partially because Burt was a familiar in this world that she didn't want to let out of her sight. "It's probably the latter -- I'm rather high -- "
Rachel's brow furrowed at the rubbing of his chest, tilting her head slightly.
"Are you okay, Mister Hummel?" Rachel ventured in concern.

It was a peculiar sense of vertigo, how the scenes melted away and whipped around her. She felt very much like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz -- a stray thought entered her mind of how jealous Kurt would be, that Rachel would be able to perform a role perfected by Judy Garland -- before she landed soundly in the hospital, stunned speechless at what she had just witnessed.
And then -- was that The Beatles? Except no, of course it wasn't, because that wasn't Paul McCartney singing, it was Kurt. Rachel would recognize that range anywhere.
"Kurt..."
Was this the future? It had to have been. Rachel would have known if any of this had happened -- anyone would, in New Directions. She would have been here.
She took a tentative step forward, her hands wringing together as she stooped slightly, to take a seat on the opposite end of the bed, in a spare chair.
It only took a moment or two of listening before Rachel began to sing softly along with the echoing of the song.

"I thought I told you... I don't want you to sing to him," his voice was low, monotonous, void of the normal bite and just general emotion he normally has. But, after a second, his eyes will shift from Rachel to something more... behind her. And Carol Hudson's voice is joining them, her image appearing as the voice comes.
"Honey, I know you're upset about what's happening. I get it. But... friends help out even when you don't ask."To which Kurt just closed his eyes, took in a shaky breath, and turned back to the prone image of Burt Hummel ( ... )

Why hadn't she said hello?
It's when Burt said something that Rachel whipped her head around, eyes wide in shock. She immediately moved closer to him, before glancing back at the prone Burt Hummel in the bed.
This was bizarre.
"What is going on?" Rachel hissed, following after Burt quickly. She knew, by now, that this was just a dream, but it was so realistic.

"Kurt..."
It seemed to be the same culprits, the same ones that had always tormented the New Directions crew. Karfosky and his goons on the football team... annoyance flared over Rachel's features at seeing the bullying only progress, worsen --
"Why isn't anyone doing anything?" Rachel demanded of Burt, hurrying to catch up with Kurt's dad as quickly as she could.

He turned towards the locker room doors then, just staring at them, the expression on his face almost taking on a hard edge.
"It's up to you to go in there, Rachel. I can't go any further."

Hesitantly, Rachel steps forward, before she reaches out a hand to push open the door, to see whatever is inside.

"Hey. I am talking to you!" he all but shrieks, and Karofsky doesn't even bother turning around.
"The girl's locker room is next door," Kurt storms up at this point, anger obviously messing with his ability to rationally think.
"What is your problem?!" Kurt's advancing on him now, not as afraid as he normally is, practically getting right in his face.
"Excuse me?"
"What are you so scared of?"
"Beside you sneaking in here to peek at my junk?"
"Oh yeah, every straight guy's nightmare. That all us gays are secretly out to molest and convert you! Well guess what Hamhock, you're not. My type."
"Is that right?" surprisingly enough, as Karofsky moves forward, he looks more... put-off, almost insulted instead of annoyed, threatening.
"Yeah. I don't dig on chubby boys who sweat too much ( ... )

Excellent. Good. Stand up for yourself and shout to the world how different you are, and to hell with the consequences. Rachel wishes she were as brave as Kurt, more than willing to be who you are and deal with it.
But when Karofsky grabs Kurt, kisses him, Rachel's face suddenly pales and she involuntarily moves forward, but the protest dies in her throat.
It all suddenly makes sense. Kurt refusing to answer why he transferred. Dodging the question whenever Rachel asked for specifics. Why Blaine was so protective over him in the first place.
And Rachel hadn't noticed.
"Kurt -- "
But as soon as Kurt notices, Rachel feels herself being kicked out of the dream, and while she fights to stay, it's ultimately useless.
She just hopes she remembers it all when she eventually wakes up.
