The man's been on fire for a long time. He's past the point of shrieking; his flesh has blackened and curled away to reveal yellow bone and slick red muscle, his blood is bubbling, and his face is contorted in an ugly mask of horrible agony, mouth gaping wide, eyes rolled back. A caricature.
Two children are flopped nearby on the ground, shoulder to shoulder. They are raggedy looking with hair in need of a trim or a brush, with dirt-smudged faces, and their clothes are little more than rags. Its a mystery why they sit and stare at this grisly scene, until one of them- the smaller one - suddenly coughs and pulls faces, then twists over to bury his nose in the others sleeve.
"Aniue, it stiiiinks...."
Madara snorts and lifts his chin arrogantly. His eyes are watering from the smell already and he looks a little green around the gills, but pride won't let him admit to being afflicted. "Hah..! I could sit here all day and watch this bastard burn. It doesn't smell at all!"
"Uaaaah~ you're lying, you're lying, it smells like baabaa's cooking," Izuna twists his head up to stare pitifully through his hair at his brother, imploringly, then jumps when the body crackles and something snaps.
"Well, you shouldn't have used a katon that weak then. Its your own fault for starting at the feet! If you'd lit his hair on fire instead he'd be dead by now."
Izuna huffs, then changes tactics. He humms and eases a few inches away, when the wind shifts as though to blow the smoke straight at them. "Senju smell bad, and burning ones smell worse. I won't share my tent if you get the smell of nasty burning Senju all over you. I'll have to go sleep with the cats!"
"... otouto," Madara scrambles after him to escape the smoke as well, his small face twisting in worry. "You can't, the cats make you sneeze and they're itchy. And they smell just as bad."
"The cats are nice to me," Izuna snifs primly. He's winning, and the sparkle of mischief in his eyes suggests he knows it. "If you don't want to be all alone..."
"Its not my fault the stupid Senju's taking too long to die!" ... whiiine. Izuna just smirks wider and watches Madara storm to his feet in outrage, and tracks him with a happy smile as the child stomps over to the blazing body and pulls a blade. Izuna always gets his way eventually...

Why else start with the feet, and not the hair, if to watch it for longer?
Tyki takes a harsh drag on the cigarette and continues to watch.

The next memory is shorter, also dealing in fire. There appears to be a theme.
Izuna's much older, now. He's blinking sleepily and slowly forming seals over several bodies on the ground, moving from one to the next. There are six, total, all bearing the evidence of various levels of mutilation.
One by one, they disappear with a 'crack' and a distortion of air, leaving only bloodstained grass. "Where is it you're sending them?" Madara speaks over Izuna's shoulder, and the younger of the two shakes his head and smiles.
"Another dimension. If you don't want these bodies found, my brother, what better way to dispose of them?"
