Of Birthdays, New Years and Parties

When: Late evening of December 31st, early morning of January 1st
Where: At a warehouse with rooftop access
Rating: PG
Summary: It's Urahara's and Yoruichi's birthdays! And the New Year! So of course a party is called for.
The past week or so had been spent readying the warehouse that he and Yoruichi had chosen for the night's entertainment. Torches lining the large building kept it warm inside and the roof had been cleared of snow (at least temporarily). Tables ladened with food and drinks were set up inside while large umbrellas had been set up on the flat rooftop with piles of cushions and thick blankets (borrowed, stolen or made) set out under them in preparation for their guests to watch the fireworks that had been set up on the other side of the roof. The general air of the place was warm and welcoming, not to mention festive, perfect for a New Year's celebration.
