Hiiro had left a note for Inoue in the frame of her door so she would know he had gone out with Duo to find things useful at home. He also wasn't as excited as Duo about going out into the wide wide world.

The homunclus had gone and most of the other threat as well, but that didn't mean that there was any less danger in Adstringendum. He figured he would have to be the prepared one until Duo learned his lesson. On the way out he grabbed two hand tied lunches that he had asked Inoue to make for this venture.

....Sometimes he liked the concoctions that she came up with, other times it made him wonder if there really was a God who hated him. Either way he took them and met Duo at the front door, quietly handing him the hand tied lunch cloth, "Here."

Duo took the lunch cloth and smiled at it. "awww for me? you shouldn't have! say, is that girl going to be okay here by herself? I mean.. after everything you told me about this place... I'm sure you've set up some elaborate traps and stuff, but still..." leave it to Duo to worry about people he just met. As he asked though, he was already heading out the door.

Hiiro raised an eyebrow at Duo's version of 'Thank you' and then gave a curious look about his worry for Inoue. With his arms crossed, he shook his head and followed Duo out the door, locking it behind him, "She'll be fine. As much as she sometimes refuses to admit, she's a very strong woman."

This was who he remembered, worried for all those around him needlessly, he took steps quickly to catch up with Duo as inconspicuously as he could and walked beside him, "I'll take you to the former scrap yard you claimed."

Why how else would he be Hiiro? With how often people seem to die around him, of course he's worried about people before he worries about himself!

Alright that flag comment totally earned a little upquirk of Hiiro's lips and a sidelong glance, "Not that I'm aware of. You've had it for two years approximately. I've only been present for one."

Hiiro kept walking, his one arms at his sides now, the lunch clasped tightly in it on the opposite side that he kept his gun and his PCD.

"It was kind of you to be concerned for Inoue."

"You think so? well.. she is pretty cute, and seems nice enough. So.. her living there.. are you two.. you know.. together or something?" He tried not to sound too worried about it, but he would try to be happy for his friend if they were.

Continuing to walk, Hiiro didn't miss a step while Duo asked his question. It was kind of an odd question, but then again not so odd after he had a moment or two to think about it, "When yourself, Quatre and I were living here she came from her world. I found her crying on an empty street in Adstringendum and brought her back to the Safe House."

He hopped over a little bit of rubble in front of them as they walked, "I am uncertain at our level of relationship."

He followed Hiiro up and over the rubble, looking at and around it as his mind tried to find potential for it. "uncertain? well what all have you two done together then? Say, I didn't happen to make any sort of metal refinery or anything when I was here before did I?"

mmmm melted scrap metal~ of course he'd need to find a blow torch or rig one up if he was going to be doing any welding and metal working.

Hiiro paused, looking both ways to get his barrings. He swore that this place changed daily with how much destruction that it went through each single day from feuds or spars or whatever else happened here.

In his brief pause he looked at Duo then looked back, "I kissed her." he said honestly, moving again afterword.

"You can use what I have, I didn't often go into your room."

KISSED HER?!?!! Duo had to stop, staring after him. Okay.. don't over react he's entitled to do whatever he wants.

"Right, what you have... so um.. did you like kissing her?"

He tried to stay as calm as possible. He's kissed people before int he past. right? right.

Hiiro wasn't exactly sure of the hesitance in Duo's voice, maybe Duo didn't believe him. Not that Hiiro much cared if he believed him or not, he gripped onto some more broken down wall as he travelled through things, raising an eyebrow at Duo's next question.

"It wasn't unpleasant." he paused, they weren't far off really, but he had to be sure of Duo's problem here, "Why?"

"Well.. just curious I guess." he shrugged. "Sure you've kissed plenty of people here huh?" Note he didn't say girls, but people. If he knew Hiiro, he'd make the correction, or not deny it.

Duo knew Hiiro very well indeed, unfortunately, the Animus had taken Hiiro's romantic memories upon his death. So the one with Inoue was all he remembered and therefore he did set the records straight, "Just Inoue."

He leaned up against a broken wall, "Why do you seem distressed about this? She's not a threat to any of us, I mean it sincerely."

Oh, so he was asking to just find out what Hiiro has been doing? Well that was a little easier to take than Duo thinking things weren't going alright. He licked his bottom lip to wet it, the fall months always did a number on his lips.

"No, she's not like Relena. I don't understand why you would make the comparison, however?"

"Well... yeah.. you were a bit oblivious to her being oh so in love with you~" Duo couldn't help but tease about that. "And you never kissed her. Yet here we got a girl you met here and you kissed her. And she's nothing like Relena. Boy are you going to have one angry Princess when she finds out~"
