High-maintenance means // You're a gluttonous queen // Narcissistic and mean. )
She had recognized the location where Rhode was, which made it easier for her as she wandered the streets, quickly coming up on the girl and her horrific play scene. Another person was already there and Riza would provide backup if need be. Riza ducked behind a wall and kept her gun steady in her hands, not wanting to fire on anyone unless she had to.
"Step away from them, Rhode."

"You came~ ♥ But you didn't listen very well."

And while she is worried, Riza remembers that she faced Alucard and lived. Not a very comforting thought, but she knows she is stronger than some.

"Will you? You don't look like a murderer~" Of course she means that ironically. She doesn't look like a murderer either, and yet, there's at least one body here to argue otherwise.

This wouldn't be the first time she's shot a child, or a woman, whatever Rhode really was.

And already it's starting to heal. The girl's grin, if possible, only gets wider as she takes a slightly lurching step forward, expression bordering on grotesque.
"That's not very~ nice."

"You should have run~"
The candles change, sharp ends pointed at Riza, zooming forward to know the gun from the woman's hand.

She gasps and falls against the wall on her side, feeling that the spikes have penetrated deeply. Again, though, she reaches for her other gun.
[ooc: Hopefully I'm imagining this right since I've never seen Rhode in action. ^^ Feel free to correct me if you need to!]

"Naughty naughty." She chides cheerfully, her face still a wreck.
[ooc: looks good to me!]

Her body realizes it needs to fight back so her other hand finally clenches into a fist and flies out toward Rhode's stomach.

"Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb~♪" the girl sings, "Mary had a little lamb, whose fleece was white~♪" She yanks on Riza's shirt, reaching up to grab a candle. "As~♪" Driving the candle hard forward, she aims to pierce Riza's jugular, intent on severing the major artery and drenching them both in blood.
"Snow. ♥"

He locked the dog in the house, PCD in hand, checking the network which was alive with activity. The co-ordinates were there, and he ran to them.
Unfortunately time was not on his side. Rhode's singing was plenty loud enough for him to hear, and he sincerely thought he was prepared for what he would find.
He wasn't. Too far away to be able to do a thing about it, Roy scrambled over the terrain - just in time to watch as Rhode stabbed Riza in the neck, screaming his refusal to accept the situation with a single, loud and clear 'NO!' that he couldn't hold back on, instantly on his knees, stomach intent on bringing breakfast into the equation, hand outstretched despite himself.

Riza is losing, badly. Her good hand is already losing strength as she gasps around the candles piercing her chest. She's afraid one has punctured her lung and that realization makes her gasp more, trying to gain as much breath as possible. Rhode's singing only makes things that more surreal and yet real at the same time and before Riza can do or think anything, there's a sharp pain in her neck.
For a second she is reminded of Alucard's fangs piercing her skin, but this is worse. So much worse. She feels a warm liquid coating her neck, flowing down, down, down... It's so warm and she's suddenly so tired...yes, sleep is good.
And her head falls against her chest, though she hears a familiar voice as if in the distance. Roy. You're so far away. Riza's fingers twitch slightly. Amidst her foggy mind, she wants to reach out to him, but ( ... )

"You're a little~ late to play hero." She sing-songed cheerfully, raising her fingers--coated in Riza's blood--to her lips and lapping at the blood there. She didn't seem to mind the taste as she licked off the dark liquid, expression nothing but sadistic glee.
"She was very brave, but she didn't listen well."

The moment Riza's body dropped he was on his feet again, legs shaking - whether in fear or anger even he didn't know. Rhode was still stood close to Riza, and on her second taunt gloved hands sprang into action, crossing his chest before moving outwards, both hands clicking as he activated the arrays, fire leaving them and consuming Rhode, words leaving him as if they weren't even his own "Bitch."
He didn't know if it would work, knew what he was feeling was blind rage, but he had to get her to move, if only to let him closer to Riza.
