Characters: Allen Walker dark_thespian and Xerxes Break mister_hatter When: Dinnertime. Where: Break's humble abode. Rating: PG-13 Summary: Break invites Allen over to feed him and grill him about Road.
When food was promised, Allen preferred to show up on time. Despite being delayed a little bit by more questions and plans, he made it out of the castle in good time. He traveled by rooftop. The boy wasn't going to take a chance he might miss a possible attack. He moves quickly and quietly, something he learned from his master's training.
By training, it meant throwing him out into situations where it was do or die. These days he wondered if Cross would have kept him alive if he failed at something. When he had a minute to himself that is. It was rare he even got five minutes until recently. By the time he makes it to the location he's resolved once again to press forward.
The role of a leader or rather, the more experienced Exorcist in the area still doesn't sit well with him. He flips from the roof to land in the light, announcing his presence without causing any undue alarm.
Break's eyebrows arch in surprise, and he throws open the window, leaning out over the sill. It looks like he won't have to go down the stares to let him in- Break himself frequently prefers to climb the trellis up to his little attic abode, and Allen seems more than capable of doing the same.
He looks up at the call, and studies the rather discreet entrance. It wouldn't take him much to get up there. He climbs back up onto the rooftops as soundlessly and quickly as a cat and makes his way over. Allen hops down, lightly and shakes his head a little. "Ah, sorry I'm a little late."
He moves away from the window towards the fire, glancing over his shoulder briefly as he hops in, and setting the kettle on the heat. This whole situation desperately calls for a nice cup of tea.
