When: Monday, July 5th
Where: Abandoned Warehouse [x,y]
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Edward organized a self defense class. Let's see if anyone learns anything.
NOTES: The first people to post to this log should be the 'teachers' with their names in the subject field. Then any character who wants to learn from a particular teacher can then comment under them. You may thread before training, during training, after training, partnered up, goofing off, anything goes involving work outs. Log or Action is fine, especially since physical combat can be a little awkward in log/prose form. There will be a watering hole thread so that everyone can mingle, but I won't post that until all the teachers have posted. <3 I hope this works! Oh! And please add your tag into the mess when you participate.
The thunder and lightning, plus the loud patter of rain on the metal roof of the warehouse was almost deafening in the building. It was apparent that the roof wasn't completely waterproof, but the leaks weren't to the point that they couldn't train here. It was livable. Edward had made certain that the floor of the warehouse was softened by transmuted rock into sand, and some old upholstery transmuted into mats. It wasn't much, but it was better than concrete. He was certain people were going to get some bruises, and if they came away from this session unscathed, then they really hadn't learned anything, in his opinion.
Thunder crashed again, this time right over the warehouse. The sound made Ed jump and then grumble irritably about how he hated thunder storms. There was no way he was leaving this place until it passed. He had no intentions of getting hit by lightning with his automail acting as brilliant conductors. Hopefully the sounds of instructions and people learning would help drown out some of the thunder. Too bad it wouldn't diminish the hair standing on end feeling when the very air was electrically charged.
