Sasuke couldn't help but look around as Itachi lead him to where they would be training. He stopped a couple of times to stare at his surroundings before realizing Itachi was still walking before running to catch up with his nii-san.

When they reached the warehouse, Sasuke stopped once more to gaze up at it in awe. It really was huge, possibly even larger than their house back in Konoha.

He gave a little 'eep!' when Itachi addressed him and ran over. And, hey, he didn't trip over himself that often, thankyouverymuch.

Itachi made sure o close the door behind the boy as he watched his curious antics. He looked so small, so utterly fragile. To think that Sasuke had grown so much from what he was staring at now. Was that pride that he felt? Of course. Sasuke was always the better of the two.

"Here." He beckoned the child over towards him to a very wide area. The alluminum sheets that were working as the ceiling were rotting by now and its gaps were shedding light through the warehouse. He was standing underneath a spotlight waiting. "Is this good enough, otuoto?"

Of course it was. Itachi chose it.

"'S BIG!" Sasuke spin around a couple of times as he tries to take in everything. He stopped then, blinking a few times as he tried to gather himself and his balance so he wouldn't fall over. Shaking that dizzy spell aside, the child ran over to the too-old-but-still-just-as-cool brother and gave an enthusiastic nod. This was definitely good enough.

"Um... Where would my target be, nii-san?"

The older Uchiha took some time to look around and spotted a sheet of wood. It was darkened up with weathering but it would suit it's purpose. He moved over to prop it against another board and blew an etched marking in the center. It would be his target just in case he wanted one. With his work done, he moved back to inspect it.

"Do you think you can make that hit, Sasuke?"

Crimson eyes turned to his little brother. Unfortunately, the boy would have to endure watching them. He had debated whether shutting them off was a good thing or not. He wouldn't be able to see otherwise so he kept them on. For now.

Sasuke watches as Itachi set up a target for him, and he couldn't help but grin. It was perfect, just like anything else his nii-san did, because he just was. He reaches back into his pouch and pulled out whatever shuriken that he had, getting ready to throw them at the poor piece of wood.

"'Course I can! I'm your brother!" Putting on his most determined and serious face he could muster, Sasuke took one of the weapons and tossed it, watching as it flew with careful, calculated precision towards the target, hitting it dead in the center.

He could feel his pride swell on the inside.

Itachi was impressed to say the least. He had watched very closely, just because Sasuke was a child didn't mean he wouldn't pay attention. The older Uchiha had always beleieved that Sasuke had talent, Fugaku just never bothered to exploit it out of him. It took a lot of confidence and reassurance to become great. Sasuke lacked so much attention when young.

"Very good, Sasuke." He offered the boy a weak smirk "You have been practising."

With a swift movement, he moved off to the side and pointed at a pole a bit higher than the sheet. It was one of the many thick bars that held up the second landing.

"Aim at that."

Sasuke couldn't help but beam at the compliment. He grinned, trying to contain his excitment at doing well in front of Itachi. See, this is why tou-san was missing out!

The child watched as Itachi pointed over to a new, higher target and squinted at it. It was really high... Could he really it from here? Sasuke chewed on his lip as he tried to do the calculations in his head as he picked up one of the shuriken in his hand. He pulled his hand back a little as he aimed with his eyes before throwing...

...Only for it to aim two feet away from Itachi. Ack!

"A-Ah...!"

Itachi's eyes watched the movements happen before the kunai so much as left Sasuke's fingertips. It amused him to see the boys expression. It wouldn't be the first time Sasuke almost hit him with a kunai. The child didn't know any better yet. He moved to pick up the abandoned weapon and walked towards Sasuke, a hand landing on the top of his head.

"Look at your target, Sasuke." He couldn't help but feel a little bit like his father. Madara was too cruel of a master to copy his antics. Fugaku had been detatched, but the pain had been far less. "Why do you think you missed?"

Sasuke couldn't help but huff as the hand was placed on his head, although internally he was enjoying the weight on his head. Itachi never did this at home, it was always the evil forehead poke.

...Now watch that happen too.

Sasuke squinted at the target. Why had he missed it?

"Um... I messed up the traject'ry?"

"Correct."

Itachi had grown in height and Sasuke was shorter than usual. Poking him on the forehead would mean he would have to bend a bit and do it, he prefered to leave it for something special. When the boy least expected it.

"You threw too hard, you anticipated that the stronger you throw the kunai, the more easily you would hit the target. Unfortunately, you must think of hight. Attack with the same force." With that, he lifted Sasuke's hand up, mending is elbow slightly as he tilted the boy's head with his elbow. He was teaching him how his hand would have to move. "Flick your wrist. Do it again."

Sasuke watched as Itachi fixed his stance, committing it to memory for later. He didn't want to disappoint the next time Itachi took him out to train.

He did what he was told and flicked the kunai at the target. He couldn't help but brighten up as it hit the center with a 'thunk!' Ooh, how awesome! Nii-san would surely be proud of him! No pokes!

"I did it!"
