After Anko's awakening, Rhode had stayed mostly by the woman's side, but alive the ninja needed space, and Rhode couldn't say she was all that interested in playing clingy child all the time. So today she'd returned to the Chateau, riding on a complaining Lero before she threw herself down in one of the upper story rooms she'd made into her personal lounge. It was a big, big empty place with just her and Lero, and she was honestly lonely. Not for just any company though--she wanted her family to play with or even an Exorcist.
Come to that she hadn't seen Lavi lately. She'd ask after him later, he might be fun to play with soon, she wondered if the Bookman facade was cracking yet. Thinking of one redhead got her considering another, the nice man. Gojyo. He'd been important to Anko, and when he'd come to "rescue" Rhode he'd been so caring. He reminded her just a little bit of Tyki, and for that she couldn't forgive him.
Another switch in her train of thought. She was still mad at Envy for dying. If he was really a superior being, someone worth her time, he couldn't go getting himself dead so easily. She had to remember to make sure he knew she really was mad at him, the next time she saw him.
Settling in her customary window seat over-looking the lake, Rhode picked up a book she was half finished with and flipped through it without any interest. Minutes later she was lightly napping, bored, annoyed, and tired.
