The shower and change into warm clothes made him feel marginally better. Although things were still a little confusing, it was a good- if cold- morning. Maybe things would start looking up; so long as Tenten took the news well, at any rate. He didn't really see a reason why she wouldn't, but it was nerve-wracking nonetheless.

Stepping out of the bathroom, Neji had a very set schedule. He was going to tell Lee the shower was free, brush his hair, make tea, then start breakfast and wait for the rest of the household to wake up before settling down with Tenten- and maybe Kakashi -to confirm him and Lee's relationship.

But Tenten was already in the kitchen. Neji glanced uncertainly at Lee's door, knocking once to tell him the shower was free and that Tenten was making breakfast instead. He slipped back into his own room to brush his hair and tie it back and emerged a few minutes later in the kitchen, looking every bit as organized as usual- save for being slightly wet.

"Good morning, Tenten." He greeted casually, and eyed the cup of cold, forgotten tea on the counter apprehensively. "I'm surprised to see you're awake this early willingly."
