The First Meeting
Characters: The scientists, and those Carmen has given coordinates/location to. [Currently: Kakashi, Killua, Kanzeon, Unohana, Negi, Roy, Ling, Rhode, Alucard, Spike, Ai Ai, Tsunade, Tieria, Cloud, Carmen.]
When: November 18th, evening
Where: An old, abandoned restaurant, with the tables and chairs spiffed up.
Rating: PG-13 at this time
Summary: Several scientists and a few soldiers are ready to see about talking.
Donna interlaced her fingers together, glaring at her drink as she leaned back in her chair.
Andrew Johnson smiled briefly. “Friendly and approachable, Professor. We don’t want riots.”
Donna gave him a level look. “And if they try something we’ll quell it. I still think this is a waste of time. But don’t worry, Professor. Once the Outsiders arrive I’ll be puppies and cupcakes.”
“Sounds messy.” Matthew smirked from the table he and Greg had claimed. His feet were up on it. Greg was messing with his PCD, not paying much attention.
“You are here because for some reason you’ve helped them. You’re not here to be sarcastic. And if you make another comment about me when you think I can’t hear, Matthew Finklen, I’ll personally sign the order for your tongue to be removed.” Donna smiled at him. It didn’t reach her eyes.
Matthew opened his mouth, and Greg put his hand over it. “Chill. What the boss-lady says, we do.”
Bao walked in, followed by Zack. “We have people approaching. Those I can identify facially aren’t likely to be attacking.”
“Don’t blow this,” Donna muttered. She put on a regular smile. “See, Johnson? Cupcakes.”
Johnson raised his glass, smiling just a bit more. “Cupcakes indeed.”
