Characters: Alice (silentbartender) and Spike Spiegel (realfolkinblue)
When: September 8th, afternoon-ish
Where: Near the river in the Northwest quarter
Rating: PG-13 (friendly fighting and language)
Summary: Alice is stressed out by the event and calls up Spike for a friendly sparring session.

Alice sat on a large boulder by the river, fiddling with the glove-like exoskeleton on her left hand and ignoring the rain falling onto her. Her arm was aching badly which came both as a relief and a general annoyance - the pain meant she could still feel and thus use it while it also served to make her general mood even poorer. She gave a frustrated hiss and pulled the glove off, the pain instantly leaving her arm along with all other feeling and began massaging it with her right hand for a few minutes before slipping the glove back on and curling her fingers into a fist. The pain had lessened, but the movement was still slow and Alice knew that was her greatest weakness. Even if she could react quickly enough to block, her left side would always be weak and any smart fighter would do anything they could to exploit it.

Then there were bounty hunters, an entirely different category all together. Alice smiled a little to herself, sitting back on her boulder and turning her face toward the sky, blinking away the rain. Spike was an interesting one, cocky and secretive like any old hunter, and she liked that; self-assured people were always the best ones to bring down. Not that there was any guaranteed behind winning, especially not with a poor arm, but she wasn't out to count wins or losses. Right now, all Alice wanted was something she could vent out all her stress and frustration and if that also equaled a solid sparring session, then all the better. Beating up on someone was always much more satisfying than a punching bag anyway.
