Summary: Two people with very different opinions on certain things should probably not meet up. You can't prevent accidents, though...
At first he'd simply wanted to explore a few more streets. This idea had turned into exploring one particular building, and then the desire to check out the curious red metal boxes. After half an hour he'd found not only ten fire extinguishers (after a close examination he knew how to handle them -- all of the ones he'd seen before in other worlds had worked differently than these) but also a hose pipe.
He went outside to see if it was still connected to a source of water. If not he'd every intention to take it with him. And if it had, well, let's see how it could be used as an advantage.
