Waiting Out the Storm...Or Closer

When: August 9th during the sandstorm
Where: The dry riverbed near the edge of the safezone

Summary: Skyler and Taichi are stranded in the sandstorm, with nothing to do but wait it out. They take the time to get to know each other better.
Skyler watched as the sand outside was kicked around by the fierce winds that had kicked up. He was glad they had dug out a place to wait out the heat when they'd gotten there. It was cooler in their little dugout than outside, but not a whole lot. Hopefully the storm would pass soon, but at the moment it was impossible to tell how long it would be. Sandstorms were no laughing matter...unless you were something like a Sandslash.
With a sigh he shifted so he was facing Taichi, the boy who had come out a few days back to help him find water. His tail laid against the wall next to him, the flame providing a small bit of light for them. "Are you doing okay Taichi?" he asked, hoping the concern in his voice was enough for the question to be understood.
