Witty ? I laugh in the face of Witty ! )
Shortly, he saw Unohana's figure seated on a rock and he raised a hand in greeting. "Konnichiwa!"

Honestly he wasn't overly worried. Even if Ukitake didn't believe everything, it didn't really matter to him. However he found a warm and rather nostalgic feeling in his chest as he went to sit with the other captains.
"Ohayo~" He called as he approached the other two, smiling as usual.

Unohana pointed at the glasses and bottle dhes'd put down on a flat rock, and crouched next to it to pour, offering a glass to each of the other shinigami.
"I suspect we might be from three different times in the timeline of our world. Ukitake-taichou looks like he is from an older time, with me in the middle and you farthest in the future, Urahara-dono."
She was not really sure where to start. It all depended on just how much knowledged Ukitake-taichou had of the situation. He'd mentioned Aizen Sousuke as Aizen-taichou, so it was obviously after the man had gained command of the squad ... after the events that had chased Urahara Kisuke away from Sereitei.

Shaking his head slightly, he chose to speak up. "In that case, perhaps it would be beneficial to know what is happening in our times." He sipped from his glass. "Right now, Seireitei is peaceful, having been around fifty or so years since Urahara-san was...sent away. Aizen-tai-" Here he cleared his throat a bit and began again. "Aizen Sousuke is currently Taichou of the Fifth Division."

Kisuke sipped his drink as Ukitake took over talk about what he knew. Very well then, it seems it was his turn. Urahara set down the his glass and removed his hat, so he wouldn;t have to peer out from under the brim at his two...comrades? He supposed so.
"Very well. That puts Ukitake-taichou 50 years or so in the past from me." He rested his chin on his hand and looked at the other two Taichou's, his expression calm and benign but his eyes sharp. "I think it would be best if I explained fully what happened to cause my exile." He looked at Unohana. "If you would like."
Reply
"I suppose it would be best. Much was revealed in my time, but there still are a lot of details that only you, Shihouin-dono and Tessai-dono would be privy to, I suppose."
It was the first time Unohana was seeing him again after his exile, in her timeline, and while she could detect faint signs of what, exactly, a hundred years of exile had done to him, she was also glad to see him in good spirits and ... quite like the gifted young captain she remembered.
"I remember being a witness for your captain examination, Urahara-dono," she said softly with a hint of a smile. "My, I can hardly believe it was such a long time ago."

Setting down his cup, he quietly cleared his throat. "So, now that we've established our times, I guess we should get down to the truth about Aizen."
Ukitake lowered his eyes. While he and Aizen had never been close, it still felt a bit treasonous to speak of the man as such. Ukitake hoped this meeting would not only clear up the truth, but help him feel more easy about it.

"In our time, It became know to Aizen that the Hougyouku was hidden in Kuchuki Rukia's body."
She stopped briefly to glance at Urahara, wondeing if he would explain that part, but kept ont talking.
"Aizen Sousuke staged his own death and used me to confirm it. He then murdered all of Central 46, and since then, all orders issuing from there have been his. He ordered that Kuchiki Rukia be executed with use of the Soukyouku. The boy Kurosaki Ichigo, who had shinigami powers, came to Soul Society with Urahara-dono's help to save her. He managed to destroy Soukyouku, with your help, Ukitake-taichou. It was then that Aizen Sousuke's treason was revealed, as he, Ichimaru Gin and Tousen Kaname defected, taking the Hougyouku to Hueco Mundo.
"I come from approximately that time, in the aftermarth of the final battle."

When Unohana finished, Ukitake opened his mouth to speak, but didn't say anything for a moment. "Aizen...is so well-liked. I can't even imagine him doing such things." He looked out to the sea and was silent for a bit. "And yet...I believe both of you."
Ukitake then spoke more confidently. "Urahara-san, I believe I owe you an apology. I spoke too soon when you arrived here and assumed too much. Perhaps we can catch up over tea sometime?"

Urahara looked at Ukitake. Poor guy, this was so much to take in. "Yes he was. Aizen he had that...charisma."
At Ukitake's apology and offer, Urahara looked a bit surprised before smiling a Genuine smile. "I think I'd like that."

Unohana was still smiling, but the steely edge of her voice told the two men that this had been a great blow to her, the way Aizen had used her confirmation of his death to get his plan started.
"Where I am from, Hinamori-fukutaichou is between life and death, stabbed by his own hands. And many of us are wounded."
Her smile grew more relaxed again as the two men seemed to reach an agreement of sorts.
"That would indeed be nice. Why, with Kenpachi-san, Kurotsuchi-taichou, Hitsugaya-taichou, and us, that makes six captain-level shinigami here, and we have several people of vice-captain level."
'Kenpachi-san' had rolled off her tongue very naturally. She hadn't called him Zaraki-taichou in quite a while here, after all.

As she mentioned Hinamori, Ukitake narrowed his eyes slightly. "Hinamori? That sweet girl with a knack for kidou? What a shame..." He sipped the tea and changed his tone again, not wishing to dwell on dark topics. "I suppose those numbers work in our favor. Let's hope none of our enemies drop in."

At the mention of Hinamori Urahara's expression flashes dark and her snaps his fan open to cover most of his face. She had healed from that Ordeal but not fully, if he remember correctly. Now she had been grievously injured, again...and the battle of Karakura was not going as well as hoped.
"Indeed~ It would be quite annoying to have to deal with them." Urahara said, noting in passing the casual way Unohana referred to Kenpachi. How curious.

"Thank you, Unohana-taichou. It does answer my questions." He slowly sipped from his cup trying to calm his thoughts, which were now flipping around sporadically in his head. He couldn't do anything about these events and he knew he shouldn't worry overmuch, but...Ukitake was the caring the type. He hoped everything turned, or will turn, out for the better.
