Momentarily startled by the noises in the city, Riza continued on her way. Time was precious and she would waste none of it to find her comrade. Although she was still new to this world, Riza let her selfishness go and focused on those in need. She was a soldier and protected the people.
Pistol at the ready, Riza ran. She ran not only to help Alphonse, but to restore faith in herself and she hoped she could set an example for the others. She believed in fighting worthy battles.
As she passed another street, Riza heard the roar, but it was closer. And she also noted how the sound wasn't entirely organic. And still she ran.
But after one corner, she was faced with a sight she never even imagined. Two large...machines faced her, but at the same time they weren't machines. They resembled dinosaurs she had read about in books as a young girl. She raised her gun and nearly squeezed the trigger before thinking one very important fact.
Ricochet.
"Damnit." Riza quickly scanned the machines for any weaknesses. Her eyes quickly settled on the joints and the wires within. It would be a tough shot, but with enough space between her and them, she figured she could take them down.
((ooc: Robovelociraptors! Why do I love them so much?))
Armstrong was headed to the coordinates Riza had given him over the PCD. He directed the giant version of himself carefully watching to make sure he did y'know SQUISH anyone on the ground. In doing this he managed to spot Riza cornered by two Robovelociraptors, smaller versions of what he himself had faced. He sent an Alchemic surge into Robo-Alex again, changing it's direction. At Armstrong Directions the Robo-Alex stepped onto one of the Robovelociraptors, rendering into nothing but scrap metal and a sputtering circuits.
"Lieutenant Hawkeye!" He hollered as he jumped down landing without the expected ground shake one would think would happen.
Riza ended her transmission to Armstrong and continued her retreat in order to find a better place from which to shoot. The robovelociraptors followed her pace.
It seemed as if she had just backtracked around one street corner when a loud clanking sound echoed from the street behind her. Her eyes widened and Riza expected the worst. Taking a deep breath, she leaned against the nearest wall and looked down the street.
"A-Armstrong?" Her voice was barely above a whisper. A giant mechanized version of the major himself marched down the street, past her, and stopped to crush one of the dinos.
"Lieutenant Hawkeye!" Riza blinked, stunned by what she had just seen. But when the other robovelociraptor screamed its anger at the new arrival, Riza sprang into action.
"Get down!" She ran around the corner and aimed carefully at the wires she had spotted before and fired upon the machine.
Armstrong hit the deck at Riza's warning far faster then one would think. He rolled to the side and came up in a crouch, fists at the ready. Of course it was unnecessary as Riza shot true and got the Robo in the weak spot she had spotted. He breathed out slowly and stood. "Lieutenant Hawkeye...Nice shot." He gave her thumbs up and a Sparkle.
Riza took a couple deep breaths as the robo fell and sparked. She lowered her gun, but didn't loosen her hold on it. Just in case the robo decided to get up again.
"Lieutenant Hawkeye...Nice shot."
She turned to look at Armstrong and nodded. "Thanks, Major. But don't let your guard down. Who knows how many more of these things are out here."
Riza looked at the machine bearing the likeness of Armstrong and just stood there for a moment. She wasn't afraid of machinery; cars were a normal part of her life and, of course, guns were like an extension of her arm, but...
Well, this thing was very large.
She rubbed the back of her neck and looked away. "Is it safe?"
As Riza climbed and got situated Armstrong followed and settled himself in his previous spot. He placed his fist against Robo-Alex and seting a surge of Alchemic Power through it, setting the Robo in motion again.
"Can I ask you to keep an eye out." Armstrong asked Hawkeye. "I need a certain amount of attention on Directing Robo-Armstrong."
As they marched through the streets Riza acted as navigator so no buildings were damaged any more than they already were. A few times they came across more robodinos, but they were easily taken care of with Robo-Armstrong.
"Thank goodness you showed up, Major. I'm afraid I'm running a little low on ammo."
[ooc: I'm not sure how much longer you want to keep this going, especially since all the dinos will be gone by the end of our tomorrow...or today, whatever time it is, lol.]
Armstrong Directed Robo-Armstrong according to Hawkeye's directions taking out the other robo's she pointed out.
"I always look out for co-workers, Hawkeye." Armstrong Sparkles slightly, but his attention is still divided, so he could not commit to a full on sparkle. "I don't know where you can find more here."
((ooc: Ehh, here is good. I can't think of too much more to do... *sweatdrop*))

"There seems to be a lot."
Armstrong smiles and sparkles in a Subdued manner. Yes Subdued.
"Would you like a ride?" He gestures to Robo-Armstrong.

"Perfectly....Well." Armstrong tilts his head to one side. "If you hold onto something. No seatbelts."
Armstrong looks at the robo hawkeye had just shot, and methodically crushed it's metal skull.
"Shall we?"

She hoisted herself up and found some handholds as the two made their way through the city.
