Summary: An investigations officer starts work on an evil dude.
He had sent Elysia over to play with Edward in preperation, and kept himself focused. He was inviting someone that had frozen him into his house, into the house where his daughter slept. But it wasn't like the people back home didn't know where to find Gracia and Elysia. And Roy was here too. She was safe. Maes would be certain of it.
So pushing back his worries for his daughter, Maes put on a smile and let it sink in while setting out lemon cookies and grabbing photo albums of Gracia. It was safe enough, she wasn't here. And if she did wind up here, he'd defend her too.
Finally calm, Maes opened the front door and let the breeze in, prepared for his visitor.
