Characters: Bobby [hypothermiac], Logan [primalimpulse], and Marie [absorbedly]
When: A day after their arrival.
Where: Just outside of one of the clinics.
Rating: PG - PG-13? I don't know. Will rate accordingly as it progresses.
Summary: The three of them have a reunion of sorts.
The plan was to meet up, get together, reassure themselves that they weren't alone and the people they knew from New York (from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters) were really here in Adstringendum.
Bobby didn't know what to believe. One minute he was on the jet, the next he was in a town that looked like a fallout from a nuclear explosion. And he couldn't leave. That was what was sticking out the most in his mind. Somewhere in between the blurring lines of the past twenty or so hours, he thought he remembered having a conversation with a cat, which really shouldn't have surprised him. Some mutants could shape-shift. He had been tossing and turning most of his first few hours here, only to get back on the small device used for communication to find that two of the people he knew were here: Rogue and Logan.
He had been pacing since he figured out it was true. It was real. He wasn't dreaming.
Except there was still a part of him that thought he was alone and would until he had Marie in his arms, against his chest, bundled up and encased; hidden from the world around them. That would make it feel like home and safe and everything would be okay here, even if it became a permanent residence.
He was a mess; a train wreck of anxiety and thrumming nerves as he continued pacing outside, not too far from the clinic he had gotten the coordinates of from Lelouch. He couldn't sit still if he wanted to. If he hadn't told the two of them this was where he would be, he would have already been searching for them, instead he had to play dead and stay in the same area, walking back and forth in the same line like some lunatic, worrying his lower lip and cheek between his teeth every time he looked up and didn't see them.
This was starting to be problematic for him.
