Londo nodded, lost in thought for a moment about contrasts, before noticing the door she'd chosen. He chuckled. "Of course we shall, my good Lady." He held open the door, which revealed another Londo, standing and staring at a younger and shorter Centauri.

"With this deception, you have become the laughingstock of all of the Earthers!" Londo was clearly upset.

"I did what I had too..." The other Centauri, Vir, was clearly nervous. But there was a bit of resolve to him.

At this, Londo felt a bit of pride, which fills the room for just a moment. He's made a good choice. Vir is a bit stupid, a bit slow, but has growing strength, and might even have a good pair of hearts. If only Londo could shape the other into something that could help the Empire. "This stops now," Londo said. "No more Abrahamo Lincolni. No more evacuating Narns. Do I make myself clear?"

Vir ducks his head and vanishes. The second Londo vanishes as well, leaving Galadriel with her host again. "Would you like another scene of him? He is young, but he means well. One day he will be Ambassador after me, and then, Emperor after me as well, yes."

"Abrahamo Lincolni?" Galadriel asked. She nodded then. "I would. I can tell you care for him. He makes you proud." She smiled at Londo.

"A fake name, yes," Londo elaborated. "He was rescuing people using a fake name, and it almost got him killed. But he is young, and stupidity is their own unique territory. They think they are invincible, yes?"

Again the room faded away, this time to show a very stressed out Vir looking at an equally stressed Londo.

"You are not comfortable with this," Londo said. It wasn't much of a question, but Vir answered anyways.

"No, I'm not!"

"On that, we are in agreement." But Londo felt a deep resignation. He didn't have any other options, his people didn't have any other options. He wished there was some other way. All of his options were fading away. At least Vir remained untouched by the growing darkness.

The room faded away, to be replaced by just Londo and Galadriel, a very downcast Londo.

Galadriel stepped near Londo.

"We can go to another door if you so wish," she offered.

Londo nodded. "You are my guest here, and I am but a host. If you wish to see another door, you may pick another door, yes?"

Galadriel gave Londo a knowing smile. "Very well," she said. "Then we shall pick another door." She stepped back out into the other room, glancing around for a moment. "How about this one?" she asked him, gesturing to the purple door.

"A wise choice, my lady." He smiled as she chose the purple door. "So long as you are not offended by a beautiful woman being mindblowing, yes?" Londo chuckled and opened the door, holding it for her if she still wanted to go through.

"Of course not," Galadriel said. "I have seen beauty of many kinds in my lifetime." She graciously bowed to him and stepped through the doorway.

Londo grinned and followed her in. The room melted away to show a club with dim lights. A slightly younger Londo is seated at a table, applauding as someone new comes out, a beautiful woman with a mostly bald head, except for one long braid coming down from the center.

The ambassador is trying to watch when a Human man and a male with a lot of dark spots all over, a Narn, start pestering him. He finally gets them to hush so he can watch her dance, a bit of annoyance building. Another person covered in spots stalks over, a female, and gets after the male Narn. Finally they're gone in time for Londo to see the Centauri woman bow. He blows a kiss, and she sees it. He feels like the only person in the room for just one minute.

"And that, was where I found her," the host Londo said. "The love of my life. Everything, my joy, my hope... In a dingy club on Babylon 5."

"The place in which you meet often does not matter much if you care for them enough," Galadriel said. "After all, the place can often end up seeming that much more special because of the meeting more than anything." She smiled. "Tell me more about her. You obviously care much about her." She was definitely intrigued.

Londo smiled widely. "Adira is her name. She was a slave, though I did not know it at the time. A more ardent lover you have never had, and so vulnerable. She did not know her own worth, no. And that, that is what made me even happier to free her. It was not just that I could. But her way of looking at life made my hearts happy."

His eyes went to the wall, where Adira and he could be seen drinking. "She did drug me, and steal from me, but in the end it was returned and no harm was done. Now, I know I can trust her, yes?"

"Coming to amends is a good thing indeed," Galadriel agreed, watching the couple in the corner. "That she was able to return your things and come clean with you does show that she did not want to cause you any distress." She smiled at him. "It was good you were able to free her. Slavery is distastful to many... and often times, it does more bad than good."

"It is a rare thing, for things to be worked through. Most parties continue to hold resentment, no?" He was a little proud of himself. After all, he had forgiven betrayal that could have destroyed his house and himself. Perhaps he was a romantic fool, but he thought it was more than that.

"Slavery. It is something I have never understood. If you own someone, what is to stop someone from deciding to own you, hm?"

"That is often the case that I have seen," Galadriel said. "Some carry this resentment for generations through their descendants, until even the original wrong doing is forgotten, but not the hatred."

She shook her head then at the discussion of slavery. "It is a distasteful practice," she said. "And you do have a point. After all, what gives any one being the right to own another in such a way? There is nothing that I have seen. I do not believe any being could rightfully be considered another being's property if that being has the ability of reason and free will."

Londo swallowed at the mention of resentment. There was great resentment between his people and the Narns, and it had led to such devastation... but they were speaking of grudges between individuals, not races. "Hatred. It takes on a life of its own, does it not?" And there was no way to resolve such hate, sometimes.

"On that, we agree, my good Lady." A cart and a pair of filled glasses on top of it appeared next to them. "Would you care to drink to equality? It is a good toast, I do believe."

"That it is," Galadriel agreed. She accepted a glass, giving him a gracious bow of her head. "To equality," she then said, their two glasses clinking lightly together before she drank.
