Summary: Kenpachi meets the 6th Espada. What do you think is going to happen?

Grimmjow sat on a flat rock far out in the Wasteland. It was probably the most impressive thing out here in the middle of nowhere. Still, the blue-haired Espada was now in good spirits. Someone was finally man enough for a fight and not just any man.

A shinigami captain. His body shivered with excitement. Oh, he was going to have fun, being the melee sort of fighter. Kenpachi seemed to be the good-and-dirty sort. Not one relying on pussy kidou spells or anything. They were both about raw masculine all-out brawls.

There was a flare of reiatsu in the air and Grimmjow knew that his opponent had appeared a small distance away from where he was resting. Well then, it wasn't good to keep a duelist waiting. Using sonido, he was at the spot in a flash.

"Kenpachi Zaraki, am I correct?" he asked.

He felt the Espada get there, using whatever it was they called their quick movement. Getting up, Kenpachi eyed the guy he'd agreed to fight. "Yep, though I normally say it tha other way 'round. Yer tha sixth Espada, I'm bettin', from tha descriptions I've heard, though I ain't got a name ta put ta tha face."

The Espada's reiatsu was encouraging. This could be a good fight, better than the one that had almost but not quite happened with Ulquiorra. Kenpachi pulled out his katana and rested it on his shoulder, starting to grin. "Been too long since I had any sort o' challenge 'round here. An' now I get one tha' nobody'll even be upset 'bout me fightin'. I think I'm likin' these two weeks, if they 're an event. Hopin' they ain't, this place could use some shakin' up."

He moved to stand a little bit apart from Grimmjow, a decent fighting distance. "Ready when ya 're."
