Mello waited in the shadows, he had gotten there before Kamui and decided to keep a watch on him first. He had his back to a wall and was weighing his options. He had the sword, but he hadn't decided whether or not to let Kamui know he had brought it with him.

The sword is question was, as the young man suspected, wrapped in a red cloth. He didn't know anyone who used swords nowadays and he questioned Kamui's interest in the sword. Was it decoration? or was it used for protection? In either case, Mello had brought along a defense- his 9mm handgun which was so graciously brought along to Astringéndum with him. Of course, he wouldn't use it unless he needed to. It was mainly there in order to intimidate those around him. Very rarely was he the one who did the killing. His lapdogs did that. Too bad none of them made there way here.

He waited well on after the hour until finally he made his presence know by stepping out into the moonlight eying the back of Kamui's head. "Well, look who decided to show up," his face was still covered in shadows, he would keep that hidden until he believed this was the man he talked to on the PCD.

Kamui had been steadily growing bored as time passed, although he couldn’t be sure of how much time had passed since he’d arrived. His anger was proving harder to control as he waited, a few pebbles scattered as a few sparks managed to slip out of control.

He glared over his shoulder at the owner of the voice. “Well, look who decided to come out of hiding,” was the annoyed retort. He’d felt someone watching him but shrugged it off and blamed his imagination.

The teen started tapping his fingers on the rock in an irritated fashion.

"Patience is a virtue," he snickered. Obviously, he had mad Kamui angry for the wait. Those sparks were someting he definitely had never seen before. That was beside the point, he wanted to get down to business. "The chocolate," he placed a free hand out- keeping the sword hidden with the other.

“You shouldn’t keep someone waiting.” Kamui ground out through clenched teeth. He started to tap his fingers faster; counting in his head wasn’t proving helpful. He snorted slightly, “You’re not getting anything until I see that you have the sword.”

If he’d learnt anything from the other dragons it was that you don’t hand something over unless you have proof of what the other holds.

"And a temper, too?" At least he wasn't stupid, but dealing with him was going to prove to be a hassle. He never really minded, as long as he got to mess with others. Play them for their weakness or just be a pain. "I have the sword, but I am still questioning if you have the chocolate," he stepped into the light more so that Kamui could see the red cloth and a glint of the sword.

Kamui remained silent at the jab towards his temper. He noted that the other person did have his sword, he wasn’t sure whether that was something to be glad about or not.

The teen nodded slightly and held a bag over his shoulder, “I doubt you’ll find anymore in this place, unless a shop conveniently drops from the sky.”

Mello couldn't help but chuckle. He had been without chocolate for a day now and that was his one indulgence. He grabbed the bag and took a look inside- just to make sure the chocolate was in there. He preferred chocolate bars but inside the bag was a variety of chocolate in all shapes, flavors, and forms. That didn't matter.

"Well, I am a man of his word," Mello handed over the sword to Kamui. It was in perfect condition- at least how Mello found it. He kept it in the red cloth and only had a peek at it once. Swords were not his fancy. "And what's your name?" This person had proved to be helpful and did in fact keep his word. He reached in the bag with his hand an immediately grabbed a piece of chocolate. Now all he needed was a doctor and he was set to start working his way through this place.

Kamui shook his head slightly, that reaction was definitely caused by an addiction. He mused to himself that the poor guy would have trouble living in a world with hardly anything left, let alone having chocolate or sweets in general lying around.

The teen took the sword and removed the cloth; he glanced up and down the blade before running a finger over the writing. It had remained in the condition he’d left it in which was a good sign; obviously the sword had a better landing than he had.

“Shirou Kamui.” He eyed the other person before continuing, “Are you going to give me your name, or is that a big secret?”

Chewing on the chocolate, Mello hardly even noticed that Kamui was talking to him. After finishing the first piece, he looked back at the other. "Mello." It wasn't a big secret, that wasn't his actual name anyway. It was a name he had carried with him since Wammy House. "So, Kamui, you seem slightly trustworthy. No one has to know about our little meeting. In fact, if you ever want to strike a deal with me again, you know how to contact me."

Kamui simply nodded and started to re-wrap the sword. It was going to prove hard enough to get the large object to where he was staying, that was without advertising that what it was.

He snorted slightly at the trustworthy comment. “Agreed, this meeting never happened.” The teen wasn’t planning on letting anyone know he’d been blackmailed in the first place. “Likewise.” He added after a moments thought, with the small population it was highly likely that they’d end up meeting again.

He rose from his sitting position and stretched slightly, keeping hold of the sword in his right hand.

"Until then." Mello nodded and stepped back into the darkness and turned his back on Kamui. People are so easily manipulated around here. Smiling, he raised his hand up- gesturing a wave of 'goodbye'. With the bag in his hand and chocolate in his mouth, he was starting to feel at home again.

Kamui shook his head again as he watched the other walk away. He spun on his heel and glanced up at the sky, time was moving on and he had a fairly long walk back to the clinic.

His grip on the sword tightened as the teen started on his own path away from the area.
