Make a good impression. )
Overall it took her no more than 3 minutes to reach the building that held her old and new home.
As she reached her room, which felt so empty without Feldt sharing it with her, she noticed Kamui at once. Not just because she saw him sitting on the floor in front of the door, but moreover because she had sensed his presence when she had entered the apartment. She had known that he had been there.
How weird, she thought and wondered if it was the case with Fai as well.
"Hello, Kamui", she greeted him, smiling at him as her steady pace brought herself nearer to him. "I hope you have not been waiting for too long."
Which she really did.
But just then she noticed something about him ...
Somehow he seemed to be ... different from his usual self ...
The way he kept rubbing his face and neck and ... was he actually sweating?
The doctor within her awakened as she bound down to him, but she still kept away from being all business. She wanted to stay what they really were: Friends.
"Kamui?", she asked, sounding suddenly worried and nervous, "What is wrong?"

The vampire gave a weak smile and nod of acknowledgment, he'd never been good at starting interactions. Knowing that he'd once been friends with Rosalie and now couldn't remember any of it certainly didn't help things either.
"Good evening, Rosalie." He shook his head slightly, "I haven't been waiting long."
He bowed his head slightly and slowly lowered his hand from his neck. The sound of that worried tone instantly made him think of his brother which in turn made him lower his head a little more.
Kamui had promised Tieria and Unohana that he'd speak with Rosalie and see if she could help. There was no point in lying now right?
"I'm just not well...I haven't been since I got here." He paused slightly as though thinking over his choice of words, "It's been getting worse."

"All this time?", she hesitated at first, but then lay her hand on his shoulder with a soft encouraging pat, her voice all careful, "You should have come to me earlier, Kamui."
She slowly raised from kneeling beside him and extendended her hand towards him, unsure if he'd be able to stand up on his own in the terrible state his body obviously was.
"Come on. Let's get in and make ourselves comfortable, okay?", she asked as she already recahed for the doorknob with her other hand.

"I thought it would go away if I left it alone." It wasn't really an excuse considering he had truly thought that it would leave him if he simply didn't feed and starved it so to speak. "It affects vampires and since you're partly one...I didn't want you to be affected somehow."
Kamui looked at the hand for a few moments before shaking his head. Despite the condition he was in he still had some pride left along with his natural instinct of doing things without help. Albeit he rose a little shakily but he was pretty stable on his feet...apart from the tired look across his features which seemed to signal that he was likely to drop at any weakness.
He nodded slightly but didn't say anything.

She sighed as the other words left his lips. "In this condition you are worried about me...", she said thoughtfully, as she opened the door to her room, not sure if it pleased her to know that he had been worried about others, even her, and clearly had stated such just now or if it frightened her more, for he could have died and still was in grave danger, judging from the mess that was left of him.
"Just enter and we'll talk. I want to- No", she stopped herself midsentence, "I need to know how it happend and what it is you suffer from."
I don't want to lose you, either, she thought, not wanting to admit how important he was to her. He was one of the last remaining pieces of the puzzle she had once called her home in this strange world. She neither wanted to see anyone of those last persons important to her die nor - even worse - vanish in front of her eyes again. She would not be able to take a single one more.

He turned his head away sharply after speaking, silently cursing himself for letting his irritation spill out. It really wasn't a good idea to let his mouth run when he was speaking to possibly the only person who could help him. Still he couldn't turn back time and stop himself from saying those words no matter how much he now wanted to. Kamui gritted his teeth in annoyance.
He didn't move for long moments as though he wasn't sure about what would happen from his little outburst. In his mind he was still mentally hitting himself for his lack of control. He probably would continue to do so for a long time now, especially because it was one instance he didn't mean the tone he'd spoken in.
Eventually he managed to mumble out a small 'sorry' before nodding and moving.

She waited patiently until he moved towards the opened door and did not even then show any reaction to his change of behaving. Instead she went in calmly and closed the door behind herself.
"Take your seat if you like to", she uttered, wearing a rather neutral smile on her beautiful face and gestured towards the two beds arranged besides each other on one side of the room. Both of them looked identically the same, the pillows and sheets neatly smoothed, untouched since nobody slept in them.
The only difference noticable was the pink Haro rolling up and down on top of one of the beds since the two vampires had entered the room.
"Rose and friend! Rose and friend!", the electronic voice chirped as a greeting, but was silenced soon after by Rosalie, who had begun to grin.
"Yes, Cherry. I am back. Would you be so kind to go to standy mode until I've finished talking to Kamui?"
As the little robot, who had belonged to Feldt, became still she added a soft "Thank you." and then her attention was back at Kamui's face.
"So. How did all of this ... happen to you?"

Very carefully the vampire moved to sit on the bed which didn't have the strange thing rolling around on it. It was one thing to be around a strange thing but an entirely different thing to be within contact space with one. He had enough on his mind let alone constantly keeping his eye on something which could wake up at any time and start rolling around again.
He looked at Rosalie for a few moments before dropping his head slightly, "I can't remember exactly." It was entirely true, he couldn't remember, in fact he barely remembered anything from that world apart from pain, blood and screaming. "We landed in a world which disliked vampires. They found out and tortured us. Subaru eventually broke...shattered..." The vampire trailed off slightly as he mentioned his brother. He shook his head slightly before continuing. "They injected something. Said i'd go mad before I starved myself. I didn't get it at first but now...each time I feed it gets worse. If I hadn't fed at all it would have worked itself out..."

"They ...?", Rosalie asked, straying over to where the other vampire sat, her expression changing from sad to mere confusion and - moreover - shock. "Who are they? Where have you and Subaru been when it happened?"
Whatever it had been they had injected to him, it did not sound good at all. Maybe ... this had been part of the reason why Kamui seemed to have changed.
"And what ... do you mean by ... broke?" She felt her mouth go dry. "What ... happened to Subaru?"

He nodded slightly and looked up slightly. "Hunters. I can't remember where we were." He raised one hand up to rub the side of his head absently. Upon hearing the question about Subaru his other hand moved toy with the cover on the bed. "He was broken...a mere shell of what he once was...He wouldn't eat, wouldn't move, generally wouldn't live anymore."

Rosalie suddenly felt the need to make him feel better, but she was unsure of what to say, since the boy in front of her had lost someone precious to him, maybe even - and it seemed to be like that - the person who valued the most.
After a moment of hesitating, she found herself hugging him lightly, which seemed to last for a rather long. She knew that he would certainly shove her back if he wanted to, so she stayed like that a little longer - maybe to long, speaking to him in a quiet, comforting voice.
"Kamui ... I can't even find the words to tell you ... how sorry I am for what happened ...", she told him and meant every single word.

He very quickly tensed up when he felt Rosalie hugging him though, he'd never been one for contact of any kind. At least not with anyone other than his brother and even that seemed awkward. The vampire swallowed thickly but didn't make any move to get away, not that he could at that moment in time as his thoughts officially ground to a halt.
At the words though he relaxed a bit back into himself. It sounded so strange to hear someone say 'sorry' about anything relating to him and mean it. Very hesitantly he moved his own arms to hug back. "It's life...nothing could be done about it..."

She looked into his eyes for a long moment, wanting to help him so badly her chest seemed to hurt, although the heart inside had stopped beating 70 years ago.
"I'm here to help you. You know that."

He stayed looking at Rosalie for a fair amount of time before turning his gaze down slightly. "I know." He wasn't sure how but he really did know somehow that she was there to help. "...Can you do anything for the poison?"

She knew of course that this was a lot easier said than done, but she personally couldn't take seeing him like that for long. It hurt too much and reminded her a lot of her own inner conflict.
Rosalie shrugged a bit, unsure of she could tell him. "We can try, but I only have some antidots maent for humans. I'm neither sure if they will work on you nor if any of those are able to erase that special kind of poison." She patted his shoulder, smiling at him again. "I'll do my best to be of use, Kamui. My very best."

He nodded slightly again. "Anything is worth a shot at this point, I highly doubt it'll get any worse." The vampire looked at her with the vague traces of a smile across his face. "...Good to know."
