Summary: Shizuru got badly injured before she and Natsuki arrived here, so Natsuki brings her to the clinic in search of help.
Natsuki was carefully landing on the neatly trimmed lawn, tightening the hold around Shizuru in her arms and pressing her closer as she did so. Her eyes quickly took in her surroundings again, running over the small, wooden house in front of her and to the large, green sign that said "Natural Choices Health Clinic", reading it just to make sure, although there was little doubt that she got the right address, everything here was exactly as described.
The clinic was like an oasis in midst all the desolation, radiating an atmosphere of calmness and safety that was perceivable even from above, and so it had not been that hard to find, after all.
Natsuki glanced down at her injured companion; Shizuru's eyes were closed again, the face even paler than before, and with great worry, the younger Otome noticed that the blood had seeped through the cape she had used as bandage - she could not waste any more seconds just standing here.
With large strides, the dark-haired woman went towards the front door, taking the glimmer of light she could see behind the glass pane as the promising sign that someone was home.
