He lived with Louis for some time, travelling with him until it became apparent that he would never really recover from Claudia's loss. Later, he spent some years playing a game of cat-and-mouse with the human boy from Interview, Daniel Malloy. He first threatened Daniel's life, treating it as a game and having him run, though in time he used Daniel to learn how the modern age worked, having fallen out of tune with it after spending so long sleeping. They built a strange relationship, where Daniel went back and forth from staying with Armand, begging from him the Dark Gift that Night Island, a paradise Armand built in time for them, and then ruining himself on the streets, living as a vagabond and drug addict until Armand picked him up. One day, when Armand picked him up, he was too far gone, and rather than loose him, Armand finally turned him, only to find that the blood had driven him mad. He ended up living in the care of Marius, though Armand was only further embittered by this failure, even if now he managed to live in the modern world again.
Some years after Armand helped stop Akasha, a plan he only seemed to take interest in in that it was his survival, and the history of Those Who Must be Kept, he watched as Lestat came back from hell with the cloth bearing Jesus's face. Armand helped lead the craze over this, and flew into the sun in a religious fervour, renewed by the bringing of this idol. He did not die, however, instead landing near the home of a girl, a younger boy, and the girl's abusive older brother. In this burnt state, he seemed to zone in on their lives, and ultimately saved them from being killed by this brother by drinking his blood. Despite his burnt body, he was called an angel by the pair, and they cared for him, bringing him the evil-doer until he could hunt on his own. He fell in love with Sybelle's music, but curiosity and desire drove him to visit Lestat. He took Lestat's blood- the only one who seemed able to approach him- and then told David his whole story. He added later his own epilogue, explaining how after telling David his story, he found that Marius had transformed Benji and Sybelle for him, and how Sybelle's music woke Lestat, who only wanted to hear more. He was confused by their turning, but glad for it in the end.
Abilities/Additional Notes: Mind gift- Armand can read the thoughts of humans and weaker vampires, as well as speak to the minds of others, including stronger vampires. Of those vampires in game, Lestat is the only one whose mind he cannot read easily, though all vampires older than him he also cannot read the minds of. He has always been skilled in this gift, more easily reading the minds of others when other vampires often need to be let into the minds of other vampires. There is also a wall created between sire and fledgling that prevents either from contacting the minds of each other, however there tends to be a general 'feeling' they can get when the other is nearby, though this is vague at best. While telekinesis is commonly shown as being a part of this gift, Armand is never shown using it even though other vampires of his approximate strength can.
Spell gift- He can in a sense hypnotise a human. It is very different from mind control, being more akin to a suggestion. It helps lower the inhibitions of a human and relax them, so that they need not fear when he takes their blood. He does not always use this when feeding, so that the evildoers he now feeds on can suffer for their evil. He does, however, sometimes use it to 'call' to suicidal humans so that he may feed on them, though since he has abandoned this, along with the doctrine from the Children of Darkness.
Cloud gift- Armand can fly to extraordinary heights, and for as long as the night will allow him without growing tired or much thought. This, however, tends to give vampires a truer sense of their distance from humans and is not used excessively, though it is often used for convenience when there is need to travel a decent distance.
