Kagura | Inuyasha | ReservedboundbyheartOctober 17 2011, 02:22:17 UTC
Background: Kagura first appears at Naraku's side, seemingly obedient to him. She killed the wolf tribe except for Kouga, and when Inuyasha and his gang arrive, she manipulates the dead bodies to fight them from behind the scenes. She then obeys Naraku and stops the dead bodies when Kouga arrives, forcing Kouga to believe that Inuyasha killed his clan. After Kouga proceeds to knock Inuyasha out, Kagura arrives to tell him that she was the one that killed his clan, but before he can attack, the fake jewel shard acts up and posions him, causing him to be unable to fight. She then starts to cut him up, trying to kill him. Inuyasha wakes up and tries to fight her alone for a while, but her wind prevents him from getting any attacks in until Kagome helps him. The spider shaped scar on her back is reviled, and the group is left to wonder why she has that mark as well as why she would smell like Naraku as she escapes them.
Later, she arrives at his castle and starts to yell at Naraku for not telling her the power of Inuyasha's sword, and he replies by appearing her heart and squeezing it, causing her to fall to the ground. He reminds her he still controls her heart, and she becomes silent as she is given orders to go fight Inuyasha again, this time bringing her older 'sister', Kanna.
From that point onwards, she does what she is told, but works behind the scenes. She is often left with Kanna as Naraku goes off somewhere, or to distract Inuyasha and the gang. One of these times, Kagura gets the jewel shards from Kouga's legs, and instead of handing them over to Naraku, she flies to Sesshomaru, and offers him the jewels, but he seems uninterested, and she flies off in disgust. The group-now including Kouga- finds her, and she finds out there that Inuyasha is half-human, and when the sun rises, he turns back and almost kills her, but a group of demons sent by Naraku sacrifice themselves for her, and she disappears. When she arrives back at the castle, she realizes that the reason why Naraku left was because he turned human at the same time as Inuyasha, but he strangles her and punishes her by chaining her to a wall.
From that point on, she is either forced to do rather easy tasks, or has to do tasks with someone Naraku trusts. He soon gives her the task of taking care of Hakudoshi, which was half of a baby that came from Naraku, which Kanna has the other half. Later, Kagura guesses that the baby must be the heart of Naraku, and that is why Kanna was trusted with it. Kagura instinctively hates Hakudoshi, and he almost kills her by sending her through a gate to the world of the undead, but she is stopped before that happens. She goes off on him, but stops herself short as she realizes that he can contact Naraku and have her killed, and she becomes quiet. In this period, she slowly becomes closer to Kohaku, whom she almost feels sympathetic for, and learns more about Naraku and his cunning ways. She starts to be nicer to Inuyasha, and does even more sneaky things, including meeting up with Sesshomaru, who originally wanted to kill her, but has seemed to come to tolerate her visits to him occasionally, and not fighting with Inuyasha even when she is asked to (though she might have done so because she realizes he's stronger than her, not out of empathy.).

Abilities/Additional Notes: Kagura fights using a small fan, which she can use in several ways. All of her attacks can be purified by either Kagome or Kikyo, as well as be deflected by Inuyasha's Backlash. It seems to be unavoidable by speed, but barriers and transporting should work.
Dance of Blades: Waves her fan at the target and creates several crescent shaped blades of wind, which cut things into pieces. Her most common attack.
Dance of Dragons: She summons tornadoes to attack her enemies. They can do two separate things: shred the person or thing into pieces, or pick things up into the air. Her strongest attack.
Wind Gust: Summons a gust of wind to push the enemy back. Does no actual damage.
Dance of the Serpent: Summons a drill-like tornado to attack the target. More dynamic than Dance of Dragons, and is summoned in the sky or directly on the attacker.
Dance of the Dead: Uses wind to re-animate corpses to fight. They cannot talk, and there are only three ways to destroy them: burn them, slice them into pieces, or distract Kagura (which would cause the Dance to end.). When the Dance is ended, the corpses drop and foam at the mouth. The corpses can be anywhere from one to a million (probably), but the most she's ever seen using is around a thousand.
Feather Flight: She can transform the feather ornaments in her hair into lifeboat sized feathers, and they can be used to fly. It's possible to fall off.
Sample Journal Post: [Kagura is not pleased by your antics, technology. In fact, she's pretty pissed at you right now. She fiddles with the buttons for a minute, then throws the thing on the ground.]
What is this thing?! [Okay, it really should stop beeping at her now, because she looks awfully enraged.] Shut up! Dance of Blades! [And that would be the PCD getting busted up/destroyed for beeping at the fabulous Kagura.]
Sample RP: She had to go. There was nothing else she could do if she wanted to stay alive. He still had her heart, and if she didn't go, he would destroy it. And that's what she hated about him, the jerk. He had all the power over her, and she wanted to do her own thing, to be free once again. She reluctantly got up from her spot under a tree, and pulled out one of her feathers. Sitting on its now enlarged form, she mused to herself as she flew in the air.
What does he want? she asked herself, scowling. That jerk Naraku... even in this place, he has control over me. It angered her greatly, but all she could do was bite her lip and scowl as she landed, walking barefooted along to the place where he resided.
Thank you for applying to Adstringendum. Before we can accept your application, we ask that the sample entry be expanded on, to show more of her voice. If you have any questions, please contact a mod.
Hmph. [She picks up the mostly broken object on the ground. It still seems to be recording though. She stops trying to cut it up for the time being to hold it disdainfully in her hand.]
Is this one of Naraku's toys? [Mostly to herself. She throws it on the ground again.]
That jerk can see me anyways without using that. What is he trying to prove? [She'll walk past it, looking at it over her shoulder one more time before taking a feather out of her hair and flying off screen.]
