Finally Time For An Update...
It seems to have been a long time since my last update (at least, that's what Brittany is aggravating me about;) I am (should be) packing to evacuate for the Hurricane [whatever it's name is]. I went to get gasoline. And so did everyne else. The lines were sooooooo long, it was disgusting. But i had favor from God. I got to get gasoline ahead of some people- so I didn't have to wait as long as I had feared.
(YaaY God!)
Last night, I went to a Dance. It was fun: all the normal crowd and some others were there. Water cost $2.XP I was supposed o meet someone there, but she couldn't make it. I also couldn't find someone else to go with (Brittany is in Lafayette) Needless to say, i didn't dance too much. I did, however, get to share some ideas and plans with the Gardners. I hope that our networking will pay dividends by increased membership and less turnover in USA Dance and cool shirts. As well as benefits to the Clubs (especially MHS) who will be able to share ideas and network; maybe they can get some USA Dance funds too.
I am torn...

Due to past happenings and events, I would like to wash my hands of SDC and its members. However, I still feel ome ownership over the club and some responsibility to its survival. I also have people telling me I should go back and support the club I started. These people include: My Mom, Dr. Jones (the Faculty Advisor), and (in a way, it seems to me) Heidi.

I don't know why they would not? Unless there is something I don't know about? You are a member. The founding member!!!!!!!!Anyway, Its not their club, it is affiliated with SELU and anyone can join and belong.

Like I said, I don't know what to do. I still have these strong feelings, but maybe I can put them aside for an hour or two every once in a while to go and support THE SWING DANCE CLUB.
