Hi!
So work has been pretty busy. It's actually really good to be back!
Went to Mary Street for the first time in ages with Brent to see a bunch of o bands. A Secret Death blew me away again... and with the Mary St PA, they sounded fantastic. Lexi doesn't get it. hehe
So party tomorrow at Brent's place sounds like a fun night. It doesn't really feel like he's moving at all... it sucks when people move. Gonna miss you bud!
So many great bands are playing this weekend. You know I'm excited. The two bands that really count for me (that are playing this weekend) are THE STROKES and POISON THE WELL (who Ant last night assured me that someone assured him that PTW are one of the heaviest bands in the world when they play live... guess we'll have to wait and see!)
My computer is completley fucked now. Well, it's been fucked for a while but now windows won't even boot. All I need is a new motherboard, so I might as well upgrade the hand-crank piece of shit.
I'm buying my mum's car for $1500 which is pretty decent. Expect lot's of designated drives by myself and lot's of wasted Paul and Owen. The constantly wasted adsman era is over. Pffft whatever, as if.
Ross and I are taking Amanda to breakfast on saturday morning then lining up like idiots at Skinnys to get out Thursday cd's signed. If anyone cares, Thursday and Poison the Well are DJing at the Depot on saturday night after the show at the Arena. I won't be there though coz I'm going straight down the coast to get some sleep.
This sunday is to be renamed Strokesday.
