this is how the work was exhibited in the gallery. the trunk was a serendipitous find - one day mr dan just said, michelle i want to talk to you after class, and i thought i was like in some trouble or shit, and i spent the entire class wandering what trouble i got myself into, but then it turned out his english friend wanted to throw the trunk away so we koped it! 8) we filled the trunk with sand and pebbles and shells and other random objects, (also, styrofoam for the bottom layer so that we didn't need to steal too much sand from the sandpit, but you didn't know that), and put the work on the top layer with jars of buttons, brushes and paints, and other random things. and we put a light bulb innit to make it shiny.
