into the KITCHEN

went to trader joe's yesterday and bought some wild alaskan cod fillet pieces for cheap, because they're not whole fillets. fried them with extra virgin olive oil and butter. lo and behold! super tasty simple dish. i daresay i levelled up there. right now, potatoes are in the pot; am making mashed potatoes. also got some bak choy, the closest approximation to the leafy vegetables that i do not know the name of but love. will stir-fry it later and have with japanese rice. desperation/necessity is the mother, but so is the internet and the curious sense of adventure in trying new things. i would say that this is saving me a lot of money, because cooking your own food is cheap, except that i just bought a pot and a cutting knife that set me back around $30. but still, since my roommates brought in so much shit like cutlery, dishware, pans etc, it's not too bad at all.

ehe procrastination has never been so fun/tasty 8D

happy face, mich loves donuts (and fish!)
