cats and noms
these days, i get home in darkness and am treated to a familiar sight: cats, roaming around my neighbourhood. a new litter must have been born not long ago, because there are all these skinny adolescent cats, preening and skulking and play-fighting. i've forgotten that small joy of just watching them be while i was in new york city. there, the streets are owned by dogs of every imaginable breed: great danes and tiny pugs, grey hounds and chihuahuas. there is no room for cats in new york city, but they are infinitely more beautiful, and wilder, at least in my esteem. i am savouring it while i can.
the other day, geraldine and jianny and i turned our trip to ippudo into an unhealthy but hilarious+tasty food trail around ngee ann city and ion. our route: macdonalds @ ngee ann city, marvelous cream dessert @ ion basement, hokkien mee @ ion basement, milk pudding at itacho. it was a very affordable and yummy and wtf route. ^^ nomnomnom <3
