Fingernails, honey. I'm offering to paint fingernails with nail polish and make them match the girls' dresses and be pretty for Homecoming.

Marisa can do that too? [...granted, Flandre is thinking of a much, much more complicated process.]

[The little vampire's more excited at the prospect of seeing Marisa again, really. Sure, she got to see the witch every day now, but as soon as Flandre woke up from this dream she probably wouldn't. Thus, every visit was something to be very excited about.]

Okay, Marisa!

[And she just...puts the phone down on the counter instead of back on the hook and skips out of the room to go bounce on the couch, humming. How do I phones?]

[It's okay. Marisa hangs up after she hears the phone set down anyways. She grabs her kit and heads over to Flan's.]

[There's some scrabbling at the door before Flandre gets it open. Then she tackles the witch.]

Marisa!

Ack!

[She was prepared for this. Sorta. Marisa only stumbles back as the vampire clings to her.]

Let's go inside, ze.

Okay, Marisa.

[Flandre nuzzles the witch a bit, then wriggles down until her feet can reach the floor. She doesn't let go of Marisa's arm, though.]

What did Marisa bring?

I brought my nail polish kit. Let's go sit in the kitchen and we'll decide on colors.

[Where she was clinging to Marisa's side before, Flandre is now eagerly tugging her arm forwards towards this location. With a distinct lack of arm-wrenching this time, though she has regained a little of her old strength. A little.]

[Much better. She follows along, not wanting Flandre to pull too much.]

[Only when they are in range of the kitchen table does Flandre let go; she sits up very straight in the chair she's pulled out (a bit off-kilter) to sit in, claws scratching slightly at the table's varnish rather than tapping in sequence.]
