New Job

Apologies, Dear Reader
I never update this thing like I mean to. Facebook is just easier and requires less effort, because I don't have to put together more than one connected thought at a time. A few things have happened since the last time I posted my grammatical vomit of anger on here.

Oh, The Work You Can Do

I ended up quitting my job at the casino because I was just sick of their shit. Left them in the lurch at the end of the month. For the past month I've been on unemployment and searching for another job. That's the first time I had ever done that. I've always found a job before I left one, but the prospect of unemployment and the following job search was more appealing to me than spending one more second of the the cunty, hawk's glare of my former manager.
So, I quit and for the past month I've been searching for a job and spending a lot of time working on my music. Last week I got a call back from Outback Steakhouse, and I started working there as a line cook two days ago. I love the kitchen and have for years, so it's a good fit for me I think. I'm happy for now and making money again, which is a good feeling.

Musical Happenings

I only have one more song to go before my year-long project of finishing up my full length album is at an end. The final song is written, and the music is mostly done. I just have to work out the vocals on it. Then I'll be spending a little time mastering and leveling out the songs and I'll be able to release it.
In the meantime, I've released two other albums (one is from a project I did called 30 Songs in 30 Days, the other is a Super Single) to satiate my listeners and supporters. I'm hoping that the sales from those two albums will fund getting 50-100 CDs printed up for my full length.

Click here for "The Other Side" Super Single. A Super Single basically means that yo get a lot of extra stuff than the main song. With this, you get this with the download:
1.) The Other Side (album version)
2.) The Other Side (acoustic demo version)
3.) an unreleased secret song
4.) Video Performance of The Other Side (acoustic demo version)
5.) Original hand crafted PDF liner notes with lyrics to The Other Side and the third track

iTunes wanted me to charge $8.00 for it, so I'm hosting it myself and offering it for a short while for a minimum donation of $5.00 (more if you're feeling generous.

Also, for an $8.00 donation I'm offering the 30 track album (iTunes wanted me to charge over $25 for it) from my 30 Songs in 30 Days project. You can get the whole thing for $8.00 or pick and choose the songs you want for $1.00 per song. I cleverly titled it 30 Days. Good, no? Ha ha! Basically with that, a few of my friends and I decided that we would take on the task of writing 30 brand new songs every day for 30 days, recording them with our cameras, computers, etc. then posting them up on YouTube. I made a playlist of them on my YouTube account Here . If you don't want to bother with the videos and only want to check out the audio and buy (if you feel like it) the album or songs you can just go Here . If you click other releases you can also see the EP that I released a while back called Progressions.
Is all sort of folksy alternative stuff, so if you're into that stuff and want to support independent artists, just go there and pick up something. 100% of the donations go toward creating and releasing new music, so the more sales I get, the more I can create; which means more content for you if you end up liking the music. Win-Win, I think.

Anyway... Yeah. From the new job to all of the music I've been able to write, record, produce, and put online to sell recently, I'd say life is pretty good right now.
Hope all is well with all of you folks who I like to consider my friends out there.

Cheers, all!
