Hey all. Happy Holidays! We're still here in CA and thanks for that considering all the snow I keep hearing about in Cincinnati. Our Christmas was wonderful, we drove down to Lompoc and spent a few days with my aunt and cousins. It was great to have the family all together, sharing a holiday.

Can we just say that my nieces are...just...amazing. There is no other word for them. They are both extremely smart, cute as buttons and so wonderful to spend time with. I can't say enough about them and I'm going to be heartbroken to leave them next week. Addison is my new best friend, she runs to me for everything...and I do mean RUN! When she gets tired, she has to hold your ear until she falls asleep-darling! Ansley just had her 5th birthday party, we went ice skating. Too fun. She's all attitude and sass. Of course, she still prefers Heather. I told her today that I was leaving in a week and she asked, "You're leaving, but Heather is staying, right?" :-)

The rest of the family is good. Its so great to be here with them, it gets so lonely in Cincinnati. Even though I have Heather and Jodelle and other great friends, there is just something missing when your family isn't around. *sigh*

I have to say that it could have been MUCH better...but it also could have been MUCH worse. Can we discuss how I love Gerard Butler?? Even as a lesbian I can say that he's sexy. Patrick Wilson did not annoy me as much as I thought he would. However, I could have sung the score backwards better than the girl playing Christine. But she's SO cute, I don't blame her. Also-will someone PLEASE tell Andrew Lloyd Webber to just step away. Step away, my child. But-I'm a nerd, I still liked it.

Anyway, I haven't been able to keep up with my LJ, but I am thinking of you all and wishing you a safe and fun New Year. I think we'll be hanging out here, last year it was like a high school reunion here on Betty Court, so it should be fun again this year. And this time we don't have to make a 6:30am flight!
