Blu -ray!!
I bought a new Blu-ray disk player last night. I love it! The picture is so amazing. I just wish I had a HDTV to play it on. My tv is fine and it does upgrade the picture but I can only imagine what it would look like on a Plasma or LCD TV. *drools*
For those of you who don't know, I am a huge techie. Meaning I love all new technological gadgets and try to buy them as soon as they come down to a reasonable price and have been out for at least a year. The reason I don't buy them before a year is because this gives the companies a chance to work out all the bugs and kinks that are usually found in new gadgets.
Of course with a new Blu-ray player you have to buy new movies to get the full effect so I bought Iron Man and Stargate. I probably won't re-buy many of the movies I already own on DVD (god that would cost me a fortune!) but I will be buying all the Star Wars movies and LotR extended movies when they finally come out. OMG those will be amazing!

Anyway, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been SUPER busy with work. Between normal planning and grading, helping to run Show Choir and Drama plus Grad School and the homework for that I have very little time for TV, let alone LJ. :( I wish I had enough time to make some icons or finish my wallpapers. I miss Photoshop soo much. I wish I had time to spend with Mark or my friends. UGH work. At least I have MK to talk to at school. She's probably one of my best friends right now and she's so much fun!
And as I'm writing this I suddenly realized I haven't been writing in my grad school "blog". UGH! LIFE!
