Well, well, well…. Things seem to be looking going pretty well for me this week (why do I feel an impending doom every time I say something like that?).
First and foremost, I'm coming to Colorado this weekend. My little sister is turning 30 and my father and I are driving out to see her and spend some time with her. Last time I was in town I spent all my time in Denver and made only a brief trip up to see the family, so this time around I will be with them most of the time. However, I am hoping to get to Denver on Saturday night. Hopefully Benny's and then Gabor's or something of the like. All are welcome, all are encouraged to join.
The photo show in Enid is nearly done, and no, I haven't sold any from the show, but that was expected. Someone did contact me and ask if I wanted to do any "photo essay" for a local magazine. I don't know anything about the mag, in fact I don't really know what a "photo essay" is but if this pans out I think it'll be a lot of fun and probably very challenging. I'll be crossing my fingers on that one.
Now get this, this is fucking weird. As you may or may not know, I have a music profile or two on MySpace.
This profile has had more and more plays and today at this moment it has 103 plays. Who the fuck is listening to this?! Don't get me wrong, I think it's great. It's just that I really don't put anything into it. It's been sitting there for about two years and now people are starting to listen. That's cool. Also,
This profile has a glitch and is selling some other bands stuff on my page. We have the same name, I'm not worried about that because they obviously suck really really bad (I don't know, I haven't listened, I don't really like music). It has nothing to do with my profile, it has something to do with the player software. hmmm.
Also, a fan of my old old band googled my name and got in contact with me and was asking for a copy of our last release (of which I still have a few somewhere). How fucking weird is that?! He said that still knew how to play a lot of our songs, then he started listing songs that I haven't even heard in probably ten years. Fucking bonkers. I love it.
To recap: Denver=Saturday... that's all that needs a recap. Now, how about a nightcap?
