Mexican music is currently vibrating my walls from the duplex next door. I don't want to be "that neighbor" that complains of noise though. I can imagine the occupants of the other duplex going deaf to this though.
I know I have ranted a lot in the past ten or whatever years I have had this journal, so here's some more. I hate that fashion and trends have leaned towards the 80s punk look lately. Creepers and torn clothes on runways, girls with the sides of their head shaved are all over the place in Oklahoma now (kind of glad I grew mine out... the intent was to *not* look like everyone else), combat boots on preppy girls. It pisses me off. It almost makes me yearn for the tacky early 2000s when it was easier to differentiate yourself from all the prep or hip hop or flared jeans people. Everyone and (literally) their mom is "rock and roll."
Seriously this music is ridiculously loud. It hurts my ears.
I already dropped calculus this summer. The first class I have ever dropped. The first day I struggled to keep up with the notes and on the quiz on the second day I just struggled throwing numbers and exponents around and didn't even come close to finishing. I haven't had math in about 2 years so I forgot all the basic concepts of simplifying and graphing and the jargon. I have never felt like I was drowning so immediately in a course.
I'm at a sushi restaurant now! I quit my job at picasso and it felt great. I was the only server that had been there since the beginning. Ater me, 2 managers and 2 chefs quit too. Luckily though this new job entails shorter shifts, higher ticket prices (thus higher tips), less sidework, less janitorial work, andddd I am the new girl so I won't have to train someone on every damn shift I work.
I'm going to Tulsa tomorrow to see Natalie while she is in town. Should be nice to get away.
I think my neighbors have their speakers pointed to the shared wall. WTF
